I keep looking at events, news stories, announcements and so on; and it always circles around to making the midterms even less understandable. Consider the plandemic.
The politicians. (primarily democrat, but it’s not an exclusive club) had an opportunity. They had an opportunity to show people what they’re made of, what they believe in, how they react in crisis. They had the chance to stand in solidarity with the people they serve. They had the chance to support their nation during trying times. They had a chance to demonstrate their respect for and adherence to, the US Constitution and everything it has done to make this nation the stunningly wonderful expression of liberty it was designed to be. They had a chance to show that respect for the law doesn’t keep things from changing.

FAIL!
Even as theoretically politically neutral health agencies were lying to the people, politicians up and down the line, from small local councils up through the top tiers of the fed; were using it as an opportunity to try to damage the then-current executive. They showed us that no opportunity to score social justice points was to be wasted. They showed us that the rule of law was subservient to the sociopolitical whimsy of an epic power grab; and that the Constitution’s limits on the exercise of authority were there to be ignored when the mood struck. We discovered that anyone, at any job, could simply be sidelined by policy. Yes, damnit, your elected officials, who are there to serve the public, DO get to simply tell you what to do, whenever they declare that they “need” to do so. And all for a virus with a lethality rate under 1%.
And the result? The result was that – when the opportunity arose to make significant changes to the power structure, “the people” couldn’t be bothered. Conditions are never going to be better for a general wake-up call about what governmennt has done with its mandate to serve the people; and the people hit the snooze button.
I get it. a big part of that is because the administration was so successful at censoring truth they did not want the people to hear; but that’s not going away any faster than the fraud-by-mail voting system “we” have adopted. It’s enough to make me wonder if there are enough of us that care left
to make anything like a difference anymore. If not now, when?
