CCP Spy Balloon

This was a provocation to test our response and an attempt at conflict escalation: https://dailycaller.com/2023/02/04/us-shoots-down-chinese-spy-balloon/?utm_source=piano&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=breaking&pnespid=qONgFC9NbK5H2fXCtDOmQp2dsE2wS5B4Nbawy.Nrsxhm0ItHPrScYn8hxXUqAOTA2NrfQDcA

Well what did you expect? I can’t remember who said it but someone smarter than me has said about China “That have a 400 year memory and a 100 year plan”.

China has been patiently playing the long game, and in a system where you have plans that span multiple ‘presidents’ and leaders all who agree on the plan ahead of time you can accomplish a lot. They’ve been buying our debt financing our lavish spending while a good portion of that money just kicks right back to China in the form of cheap goods. They are the worlds manufacturing hub for so many goods that it is absolutely ludicrous now. COVID taught us nothing and much of the worlds MEDICINE is still produced there. All of this was planned by China decades ago, and now they have what they want.

Meanwhile here in the US we can’t agree on what a man or woman is anymore, much less how to yoke our economy to get the most out of it.

Centralized planning in this manner has advantages when your adversary changes whims every 10 or so years. China has made it clear they want us as subjugates to them. They just haven’t been as irately open in the declaration of it as Iranian mullahs have been in the past. They are more subversive, planning and cloak and dagger where the Taliban and Al Qaeda never was. China isn’t about flash or showmanship, they have more at risk than that. They are patient and willing to wait another 50 years if it means victory.

Meanwhile we will change governance again and again and again unable to agree on if China even is a threat much less what to do about it while our politicians are sleeping with spies and doubtlessly handing over sensitive information. Everything even remotely new we make and every breakthrough we achieve here in the US has a timer on it till the Chinese government steals it somehow and begins to produce it.

I suppose in the way of intellectual property it is kind of like handing a monkey a fully loaded AK-47. You kinda hope they don’t figure out how to use it properly even though it is possible. They have the goods, production and means but since THEY didn’t design it I guess we are kinda hoping they don’t understand how to fully operate this technology? Thats my best guess. We just hope the chimp doesn’t hose US with the AK.

So with all this going on whats a single spy balloon or a dozen for that matter? I mean don’t they already have everything? Haven’t they already stolen nearly everything of value through subterfuge? The balloon is just a physical symbol of this and has people rightfully irate that our administration wouldn’t do anything about it until AFTER it ran its mission across the US. Late isn’t always better than never ya know.

Still waiting for people to be pissed about TicTok and how our US laws don’t apply there and it shoudl be apparently obvious to us that China is also using that platform to mess with us. But again, yes it is a spy balloon. Yes we should shoot it down. However we have much bigger fish to fry. I would however like to see it strung up as the lead float in the Macy’s Parade though. That would be kinda cool.

It’s probably got a lot less to do with cowardice than bank balances. This was nothing like an accident; it was a deliberate violation of border sovereignty. That said, given that this administration is quite open to the world that the US does not have a southern border it is interested in defining or defending, one can understand why the ccp would consider such a violation a very minor concern.

Just keeping us in balance. The northern boarder must be as porous as the southern one.
