To date, books about Joe Biden have sold 81 MILLION COPIES! Just kidding; that was a completely random, ridiculous number. Actually, some of them are failing to break 5,000 total sales. Books about Donald Trump flew off the shelf because Donald Trump is INTERESTING. The Mediocrity in Chief is… not.

Have you ever figured out why the Republican Party does not tell the American people about how the DemoKKKrats did their best to keep the black people on the cotton plantation? Not only did they claim election fraud in the 1876 Presidential election, but their Congressional investigation resulted in the promise to let the DemoKKKrats run Reconstruction in the south. That led to the Jim Crow Laws and further emboldened the KKK. Then when Woodrow Wilson was elected President, he fired all the blacks in his administration and even held a White House presentation of “Birth of a Nation”, the KKK classic film. And when his racist policies were investigated, Wilson’s administration told the press that if they published those findings, the administration would destroy them. Ever wonder why the media has taken the leftist, DemoKKKrat Party line ever since? Then when the SCOTUS rulings destroyed the Jim Crow Laws, along comes LBJ to get his “Great Society” program passed and declare a “War on Poverty” (which we have surely lost). I heard Dr Alan Keyes speak in 1973. He said that LBJ and the DemoKKKrats managed to move the black slaves from the cotton plantation to the “government welfare plantation” where they will stay for generations.
I simply do not understand why the Republicans do not take every opportunity to tell the American people those details. I am amazed at how many people don’t know that the DemoKKKrats formed and created the KKK, and the Jim Crow Laws.
Anyway, great presentation, guys!
One problem with this is “The great flip” mentioned by many on the Left. That is, the Democrats are now the party of civil rights, and the Republicans are anti. (Voter ID is often cited. As if Blacks are unable or unwilling to get them. Pure racism in that.) Also doesn’t help when the Confederate flag shows up at conservative or Republican rallies. I know its often a plant, but too many seem to be clueless about it or misunderstand what we are about.
I’m still waiting for actual proof (there is none) of a flip, but that lie seems to be pervasive.
“The Great Flip”, which never happened, is one of many examples of how the left is able to simply assert anything that they want to be true – absolutely anything – and the public will eventually adopt it as the truth. No argument will convince them otherwise.
The the Democrats own the narrative and they also own the language.
I go back to my comments on the Wilson Administration and their intimidation of the media.
Harry F, There’s an old saying, “He who controls media controls what they pubic is allowed to hear and allowed to know.” Worked fine with Lenin/Stalin, Hitler, May, Che, Fidel, et. al., and has now been integrated into our so-called education system.
It is a long-known fact that fatty poop floats. That is why JB “floated to the top” as Scott stated.
That is what I tell people about politics. Cream rises to the top, but poop floats. Which are we looking at?
Well, another well known fact is that politicians, like diapers, should be changed often, and for the same reason. 47+ years is waaaaaay too long.
The truth about anybody on the Left cannot get published in the current political environment, while lies about everyone on the Right have no problem being spewed by every MSM outlet. Our Republic is in such desperate trouble today, that one must wonder if there can ever be another “sunrise” tomorrow?!?!
@Scott Ott – In all sincerity, you should put both of those books back up on this site for sale. “Axis of Weasels”?? As a former Scrappleface reader, I definitely want to see that.
I have no doubt a Scott Ott penned Satire book about the Bidens might hit 10,000 pretty quickly.
Make it so!!
I still have my copy of Laughing at Obama. If I ever go to an event with Scott I will be bringing it for an autograph!
Those books sold 5,000 copies each. Each book sold for $2,000 each, rivaling Hunter’s sales of his finger paintings and bringing a tidy sum to the Big Guy.
That was my first question… how could a family of grifters manage to not sell to friends and backers a couple hundred books each? I guess if you just pad the price per crate, you don’t need to sell as many and still get all the grift.
For all we know the most gripping edge-of-your-seat, nail-biting political expose ever has been written about Joe Biden and the escapades of the Biden Crime Family. There’s just no way to get such a thing published.
I think it may have been written by Ghislaine Maxwell. Whatever happened to her?
I think she was de-publicated. 🙂
Strange how that whole topic dissolved into the ether. It is usually the exact type of subject that gets the most attention from the general public. Powerful people, sex, scandal. Just can’t put my finger on why that one didn’t get more play and a couple of dozens books written. If only there were a common theme…
Ms. Maxwell must have hidden her lists really well since she hasn’t killed herself…yet.
Hidden better than the “Holy Grail” in that Tom Hanks movie whose name I can’t recall and can’t be bothered to look up.
Thought experiment …
Put Ivanka Trump, Lauren Bobert or any other well known conservative woman in the place of Ghislaine Maxwell. Extrapolate the consequences, form conclusions and contrast differences in media response and coverage.
The end result is obvious.
What’s scary about this situation is how many people actually don’t know anything about Ghislaine Maxwell or what her involvement is. That’s a testament to the effectiveness of a main stream media blackout.
The other night my son called, the retired USN officer. We were discussing the 2024 election prospects. He surprised me a little bit when we were talking about Donald Trump.
He said “There’s no way I’m voting for a man who caused an insurrection against the government of the United States of America.”
My son is a bona fide patriot, he’s not an uninformed man either. But he actually thought that Donald Trump had magically somehow led a genuine insurrection against this country. Because that’s what the media is saying and he obviously is watching the wrong media.
When I said that if that was an “insurrection” it’s strange that no one, including Donald Trump, has been charged with the specific crime of insurrection — He said “Dad, you more than anyone should know that you don’t have to use firearms to carry out an insurrection.”
I said “Yeah, but that’s not my point. My point is that as much as those dumbasses are hated and even more how much Donald Trump is hated — If an insurrection happened and can be proven with all the video and other evidence, then why are no charges for insurrection being filed? The word “insurrection” is used a lot in the media but it’s strangely absent in the criminal proceedings. Seems to me that charging people with insurrection, if that’s what they did, would be obvious and very supportive of the claims of the media. Why are no charges of insurrection being prosecuted? Because they can’t prosecute something that didn’t happen, that’s why. If they could they certainly would and with vigorous enthusiasm to boot.”
“So the accusations of “insurrection” are pretty moot. Yet here you are using that very accusation. You need to think about that and do a little bit of research. You know your Old Man doesn’t miss a lot so just for my sake I’d like you to have a closer look before you go repeating that accusation.”
“The January 6th rioters committed crimes but it’s not possible that insurrection was one of them. If it were, they would be charged for it and those charges would be splashed across every media outlet in the world. There’s a reason that’s not happening. Those people committed insurrection in exactly the same way as the cleaning crew commits insurrection every night because they ‘occupy’ those buildings. The difference is that the cleaning crew is not trespassing, committing vandalism and malicious mischief and making a big mess. The rioters can be charged for those things and they should be.”
Then we changed the subject to why Donald Trump still isn’t the best choice for POTUS and I gave my reasons. Which he agreed with.
My point in relating all this is to demonstrate the massive effectiveness of mainstream media’s slanted, biased, false coverage of the news. If my kid can be successfully hoodwinked then it’s a very simple matter to do that to the rest of the population.
Like was done with the Ghislaine Maxwell story. Too.
Great story. And the fact that it matters not which channel is watched, the same language is always used.
There is a reason “Insurrection” was used. It has a very high level index even if the vast majority of people don’t really know its true meaning. They feel it is bad at another level.
One of the flaws for Trump and his people is that they didn’t admit to the vandalism and damage and demand that those people face consequences. Just like all the summer of love people should have.
Exactly, and that’s just one of many mistakes. Those mistakes cost us a majority in the Senate and set up the Biden Crime Cartel to have its way with America.
There are people making the absurd claim that there is no such crime as “insurrection”, that it’s a political description not a legal one. So the “insurrectionists” are being charged with “seditious conspiracy”, which is a crime. It’s just not the same crime as insurrection. Here are the statutes —
18 U.S. Code § 2383 – Rebellion or insurrection
18 U.S. Code § 2384 – Seditious conspiracy
Back-to-back sequential statutes dealing with separate crimes. One is not the same as the other, they are not synonymous nor interchangeable. People cannot be charged for a statute they did not violate just because some other law bears incidental, superficial similarity. This is, thank God, an aspect of The Rule of Law.
Law is law, not “close enough is good enough”.
To the best of my knowledge while the media trumpets on and on stridently about “insurrection” no one has been charged under 18 U.S. Code § 2383. Again, clearly if that statute could be charged it certainly would be.
Thus there was no insurrection. In spite of media claims to the contrary. “Insurrection” is one of those dog-whistle code words the Left constantly accuses us of using.
I said the day after the Jan 6 incidents “Any person who broke a law should be prosecuted, convicted and punished according to the law.” No more, no less. Any political party. Even Trump if he broke the law. (Or especially given the power he has) But I think the charges are bogus. Willing to be proved wrong, but the evidence better be solid. But notice which party often gets away with the crime, and which gets charges and harsher punishments.
Very telling that, eh? 🤔
