Good Analysis, gentlemen, but you miss the larger implication. Yes we CAN have a 2 tier justice system, just like the rest of the 3rd world. It is a characteristic of the TWO TIER CLASS SYSTEM being finalized and installed by our political superiors. Poor people don’t deserve equal consideration given their masters! These political elites have been chewing on our ‘one justice fits all’ system for decades and they’ve about got it ‘beat down to its knees’ to where they can install their ‘superior’ two tier system where only ‘they’ can be free of any restrictions. While WE wear red and march in a straight line to the tune of their drummer. . .like the good serfs we are. Look ahead! I see it coming, don’t you?
I think Steve was right. Chicago’s finest are pissed. Was watching Tim Pool’s video about how the police department granted a FOIA request for the documents in twenty four hours. not redacted or anything. When has that ever happened.
This case will become, in the African-America public consciousness, fact that a Jussie was beaten up by white rethuglicans who “the man” let go after hassling Jussie over it.
Convince me I’m wrong.

I’m as angry about this Smollett mess as the rest but I won’t be allowing it to serve as cover for the MSM’s pivot away from their smelly, steaming hot pile of Mueller. Wonder how much showed up in the prosecutor’s war chest as a result.

It’s Chicago. Chicago has always been corrupt, all the way back to the Capone days. Obama’s people are also corrupt; if not, we wouldn’t have seen the corruption in his administration with Hillary (security), Podesta (agitators), and two AGs who will not prosecute a Democrat of rank. I am no fan of the Chicago mayor, but when he throws the BS flag, you know something is wrong with the justice system there. The message is clear: if you are connected in Chicago, you can buy the DA off. If you are not, you swing. That means there is no justice, because it cannot be that you have two sets of laws, one for the famous and the other for us regular slugs. Justice is supposed to be BLIND. Obviously, it is not. So, to question the justice system as it stands in Chicago is legit. It’s the same way Hillary got off for the security violations, the same way the Obama administration got off for letting Americans die in Libya, and the same way Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch were allowed to escape criminal consequences (Fast & Furious/Meeting with Bill Clinton at the airport) at the national level. There is no true, fair justice in Chicago. Based on the actions by the DA, the racial focus he was going for, and the injustice of this case, I don’t think we need to hear another word about white privilege EVER again. But this actor will still have to survive the court of public opinion. And hey, remember, it IS Chicago. The Mob still lives there, and I don’t think they’re fans. Considering he is in Chicago, he had best be very, very careful not to tick off the wrong people there.
This is just Democratic payback for the Mueller nothingburger.
What is the judge’s rationale for sealing the case?
When the Mueller report summary was given out by The Attorney General I was not jumping up and down with joy. I simply reflected on all of the wasted time and opportunities that were trashed by the sham attacks.
So, I don’t totally understand my extreme anger at the outcome of the Smollett case. It just put me into a funk and ruined my day. I was just angry as hell.
I’m White and I do support the president, so it just felt like I was personally attacked I guess. I tired of being considered the cause of all that is wrong in the world.
I wish every White Trump supporter could join a class action suit against Smollett for slander and or liable.

Michael, James Woods had a tweet when the whole hoax side of the case was being exposed. He tweeted that Jussie was a scumbag (I’m paraphrasing) because he would have been perfectly happy to see two innocent white guys go to jail to cover his lie. Now he’s getting off Scott-free, and that’s what bothers me.
Hopefully some justice might be done with a federal case. Jussie Smollett could still face federal charges as the FBI and the US Postal Inspection Service are continuing their probe into a threatening letter Smollett might have sent to himself. I’m curious if all of the evidence from the Chicago case that is now sealed could be accessed by the Federal prosecutor?

I wonder what the consequences of me taking Smollett into a back alley in Chicago and knocking some sense into him would be at this juncture? I’ll bet that prosecutor wouldn’t fine me and let me ride. Even if I plead “double jeopardy”.
