In general, it seems that as the Left gets more socialistic-and by inference, atheistic–it is understandable how they could confuse a mere human being with God. The Golden calf analogy is perfect. But you are spot on with looks. John Kennedy was elected in large part because of his looks. Compare his appearance to Roosevelt, Truman or Eisenhower and you see it. His election was similar to a Beatles concert. Unlike modern Democrats, he was an actual war hero and had some understanding of the world and a lot of guts. Clinton and Obama were also pretty boys and therefore loved by the Left. As typical of the Left, it would seem that appearance matters far more than substance.

Rhetorical Q:- So now that you have correctly ID-ed the problem, wha’s your TACTICAL solution & strategy?

I happen to be a Jew. Every year I marvel at the brilliance of Passover, where we dramatically tell the story of the misery of slavery. I’ve always wanted an American Passover. Closest we come to that is on Independence Day or Thanksgiving.

Similarly, to counter Beto or Beetllejuice, probably someone like Shapiro, who can ridicule the game as he plays it.

The left is always 5 steps ahead of us. Bill, Steve, Scott, it’s time for you to have a serious talk with Ben. I mean it!

The GOP keeps promoting rather unattractive candidates, I .e., eschewing style over substance. Progressives on the other hand understand that style matters. (A lot.)

Shapiro is a small c Conservative that understands that dynamic. He’d smash Beetlejuice or Biden in a debate; almost as well as Bill would. We need someone like him, if not him, to primary Mr. Trump.

Everything we now see is rapidly changing. E.g., internet 3.0 – the internet of Value, the nature of money, the resurgence of rational individualism.

If you can, I suggest you 3 have a heart to heart, encouraging Ben to consider running sooner rather than later.

Speaking of photos of whatshisname, remember all the photos of him with a halo? For a while there in every photo there was a bright light behind his head or his head just happened to be centered on some round department seal. That deification was deliberately cultivated.

Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.

They’re standard-issue godless human beings, who are actively in rebellion and who have thus been given over to their crude desires by God.

They think they are casting a movie. They already have a script and they just need to get the actors properly cast. They ‘know’ with certainty what is going to happen, in what order, so they just need the proper people to give the orders while looking wistfully into the sunset with their hair gently blowing in the breeze.

AOC was essentially found by her backers in a casting call for young “hip” congress-critters. It’s one of the reasons her interviews are so bad. She is not talking about what she knows, but parroting someone else’s views. The left is basically doing Cyrano.
