One reply on “A different Perspective.”
I saw some headlines:
“2 homes up in flames near Kiev”
“Z asked the population to make molotov cocktails”
Fox news, that was shilling for the warmongers in the last 3+ weeks showing this pic https://a57.foxnews.com/livenews.foxnews.com/images/2022/02/480/270/60c8f552ad141839a4180b194d952cb9.jpg?tl=1&ve=1
with title “A man inspects the damage at a building following a rocket attack on the city of Kyiv, Ukraine, Friday, Feb. 25, 2022. (AP Photo/Emilio Morenatti)”
Notice the art of crafting the words, Kiev is actually a thing, and some missile attack also probably happened somewhere in the broad region. And the inspection of this 99.9% likely unrelated, internal-sourced fire might actually happened at a later timestamp, so fact-check TRUE. May even worth a Pulitzer prize like those gained for writing about the Trump’s Russia-gate over the years.
The other usual slogan is “protecting democracy” in U. What probably works fine for the folks who can’t find any “other country” on the map let alone have a clue on what goes on there.
The current president of U was indeed duly elected in a democratic process ~4 years ago. So far so good. The catch is that the major point of his campaign was to implement the Minsk agreement, make actual peace in the “rebel” regions, and restore *good* relation with Russia.
He won by a pretty small margin with mass votes from people who didn’t like the direction. And in the 4 years on the throne he did the exact opposite of what he promised.
So that’s the famous democracy for you.
Sure, it’s pretty similar in other places, maybe not THAT blatantly on the major issues, but I question the moral of rallying for supporting this BS and assign any virtue to it.
