The incredible shrinking Oscars — Academy Awards draw shockingly-small audience. All of our cultural attitudes have changed in recent decades due to movies, TV, stand-up comedy, etc. But they no longer control our culture because no one cares.

I’d like to thank the liberty-loving bloggers, talk show hosts & content creators for watching (or not) these Vanity Fests so the rest of us don’t have to. I completely forgot about it until I read a tweet from Ricky Gervais the next day with his opening monologue from a couple of years ago attached. Now that was fun to watch.
Brilliant. Versions of the software behind metahuman is showing up in Blender, Unity and other engines. It seems the key break though that makes it possible is open source or widely known.
I’ve mentioned this already, but again, the latest MB2A Week in Review is not here on this site, nor is it on Rumble…only on BlueTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MYKlKqbjG4c
Holly Crap!… Hearing you tell me about your childhood I feel like a mirror image. I was born in 1971 so I don’t remember seeing men walk on the moon. My first real experience watching a space launch was one of the Greatest test pilots/astronauts John Young commanding the first space shuttle launch… From that moment I was hooked. I learned everything I could about the space program in small town in colorado… if you go to my high school library every space book probably still has my name in it because nobody is taught that today…they don’t care and they don’t have any desire… I laughed today when I saw your video because it reminded me of me 42 years ago… I wanted to be an astronaut so bad but then I got glasses learned I couldn’t become a Naval Aviator and that would mean I would never be a Commander. Now it never dawned on me I might still work hard enough to be a mission specialist but I wanted to be a Commander like Mr. Young or Armstrong, or Conrad or Grissom… I turned 50 this year and have decided to start taking lessons to get my pilots lesson. Thanks Bill.
license not lesson.. jeez
The video … What an amazing insight to Natasha’s sense of humor.
The quality of American Cooperate Entertainment is the reason Demon Slayer is a world wide hit in Manga, Television, and Film; while Captain America is getting woke and going broke.
If you virtue signal in the woods and nobody hears you …
That 9.8M…is that global viewers? I’d really love to know how many American’s DIDN’T watch it. LOL
Bill, seruiosly, please post a tutorial on how you did that.
I like this episode. I have tuned out lately but good to hear Bill talk about culture again.
and this is with our population growing each year so the numbers are actually even worse.
Your optimism is uplifting, Bill – I haven’t followed popular culture in over two decades, finding most of it un-relatable, shallow, silly or stupid and frankly, completely unappealing. The forcing of progressive ideology down my throat will not get a penny out of my pocket to pay for it. I certainly don’t give a rat’s patootie about the opinions of actors and actresses, and would appreciate them keeping their lips zipped.
Your little video at the end was amusing. I bet Natasha can’t wait to get home. I’m really looking forward to the entertainment that non-Hollywood is set to bring us, and especially your current project. Hope it’s proceeding at warp speed. I ain’t getting any younger.😉
I can hear Natasha laughing.
I can too. But she sounds like the Natasha from Moose and Squirrel.
Don’t want to rain on the parade, but when people replaced HW influence to that pouring from their handheld platforms — are we really ahead?
To me it looks like H addict changes to cocaine addict.
@Bill if you see anything in the upstream bound to change that, please show us.
Since you posted this it is further proof you were the lucky one in the marriage dept.
