There are more of these attacks on small business that are happening every day. Shelly Luther (Salon in TX), Matt Myer (Tattoo artist NC) and many others.
Nick Koumalatsos served his country spending 12 years as a Marine in Special Operations (MARSOC). Nick is a driven, capable 30 something year old man running several small businesses with employees and also has a wife and young child. Don’t let his looks deceive you. He may look like some character in a movie about ancient Greece, but he is an extremely competent/fearless entrepreneur.
On May 7 the police “raided” one of his business using some fairly heavy handed tactics. This type of activity is just wrong and it just plain bullying by the government. I wanted to share as Nick tells the story here just to give it more awareness as we watch this type of thing go on around the country.

It really has been telling to learn how eager our state and local officials are to abuse us; and how many of our fellow citizens are happy (if not eager) to collaborate with the abusers.
Agree, these people seem perfectly willing to make themselves into traitors, rats, douche bags, losers, whatever, probably assuming that the people purveying the abuse have or will gain total power and they will be spared the wrath. I got news for them, the abusers know who and what these losers are and if they think they are just going to walk away they are really naive. At the risk of sounding overly dramatic, they will (figuratively speaking) spend the rest of their miserable lives on their knees shining boots waiting for thugs to throw them some table scraps.
This man is being hounded for living with the basic rights enjoyed in many countries. He runs a business, interacts with people, and follows basic safety regulations. For this he is harassed and attacked.
What happened to the United States of America???
