Bill, why have you not moved to TX or at least CO?

Sorry Steve. I’ll be in your beautiful state next Friday, I think, you anywhere close to Fort Collins? If so, I’ll yell a thank you.

Seriously Bill, it’s getting out of hand.

Let’s get real. I’ve moved twice in the last 9 months. The first was when my home was burned to the ground in Paradise. I slid into a tiny onebedroom apartment that I was lucky to get with nothing by a cat, a backup drive, a ten year old Imac, a twenty year old car, and a very odd assorment of clothes in my trunk. Other than that zip, zero, nada. Nine months later I moved into a new two bedroom apartment with an amazing amount of stuff.

Still, moving is a monumental hassle. And not something that , given Whittle’s current projects and schedule, would set the good fight back three times the amount of time it would take to move.

Moving is finding someplace to move to. Then it requires packing up EVERYTHING…. Then you load it up in pods on a truck and then that pod/truckj drives what? 1000 miles to Colorado? Then you unload the truck and then unpack the boxes and then arrange them.

And that’s just the home. The Studio is the same thing all over again. And then you are in a new place where y ou have to find local businesses that you can use for everything.

Nope. It’s a time sink and a strategic error at this time. Stay put and just lie at the back of the bridge like George C. Scott in Islands in the Stream and “just take it.”

Beau, I beg to differ. The fight is all over this country. Sometimes when you are in a losing situation you have to say “You’ve made this mess and it’s your job to clean it up”.

Hollywood is where the vast majority of our culture products are produced. We’re talking about the culture war here, specifically.
