How Free Market Prosperity Enables Bernie, AOC, Gulags and the Slaughter of Millions

Aleksandr Solzhentisyn, who saw the starvation and brutality of The Gulag Archipelago, said “prosperity breeds idiots.” That helps to explain the existence of AOC, Bernie Sanders and other so-called social-democrats and Progressives.

It doesn’t explain why Ocasio-Cortez and countless others like her have learned nothing from the slaughter of millions that came as a direct result of their beloved ideology.

I think there is a bright spot. That will be the look on people’s faces when they learn that “society” has determined a truck driver is worth more than a hundred gender study majors.

The circle of humanity , from poverty, to courage, to wealth, to prosperity, to apathy, to slothfulness and stupidity, and back to tyranny and poverty …that circle, is a 2 dimensional phenomenon. A circle repeats itself until someone/something rises above it in the 3rd dimension and sees the trap it represents. A Lighthouse to shine on the path that imprisons all and reveal that history shows the result of present stupidities. To break the circle, first we must know of its existence (like any other trap). Teaching history correctly to show the next generation the direction and where it necessarily leads sufficiently to grab their emotions with the reality, is the only hope for them…(not us)..and the direction of mankind’s future history.
People have murdered, lied to and hated each other for ‘ever’ for no good reasons. Only by understanding the moral path to mutual regard and love preached by that great sage, Jesus, may we find ‘peace on earth.’

It is going to take a lot more than a feeling and faith in a myth to save us. It is going to take knowledge, courage, commitment to stay alive, and a massive amount of effort based upon such things to save us.

If all we have is a feeling and faith in a myth, we don’t have a clue about what it takes to stay alive and thrive. See the past of mankind following feeling and faith for instructive detail.

How many more hundreds of millions of dead bodies will it take for us to learn those lessons and willfully/thoughtfully choose a different path?
