There is a four year timeline of the Dems efforts to damage this country using foreign assistance. I have not watched Glenn Beck for a long time, but his Utube video caught my attention It is a “must view”. The title is: “UKRAINE SCANDAL EXPLAINED: Chalkboard on DNC Collusion, Joe Biden, Soros, Trump & More”.
David Brooks is a Trot. And not only is he a Trot, he’s like the guy who worked at Bell and then AT&T and then Lucent by pretending to know how to fix a paper jam on the old machine. But he’s gotta jam paper in the machine when nobody’s looking.
Great conversation. A couple of points though: First, they have not had a formal impeachment vote in the House and without that the Republicans cannot issue a subpoena, but the Democrats can.
Secondly, it is a super majority of 67 in the Senate to convict. You will never get 18 Republican to vote for impeachment. I think there are several Democrats who will vote no also.
This whole thing is to deflect attention from what AG Barr and the justice department is going to bring out against the Democratic party.
Corrected for errors, my apologies.
Absolutely, Let’s Have an Impeachment Trial
The following is an excerpt from an “American Spectator article that points out the the Libs will open Pandora’s Box by putting Articles of Impeachment before the Senate!

3. However, during thetrial, and this is what no one is thinking about right now, the President’s attorneys will have the right to subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT. That is diferent than the special counsel investigation, which was very one-sided. So, during the impeachment trial, we will be hearing testimony from James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Glenn Simpson, Donna Brazile, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Christopher Steele, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, and a whole host of other participants in this whole sordid air and the ensuing cover up activities.
A lot of dirt will be dug up; a lot of truth will be unveiled. Finger pointing will occur. Deals will start being made, and suddenly, a lot of democrats will start being charged and going to prison.
All this, because, remember, the President’s team will now, for the first, have the RIGHT to
question all of these people under oath — and they will turn on each other. That is
already starting.
So, Trump merely having the balls to defend him self against the coup attempt…is “obstruction of justice”.
Anyone in Congress that supports the Coup against the President should be arrested and charged with Treason…with a capital T, that rhymes with P, and that stands for PERP WALK.
The problem I have with that approach is, if nothing is done, which in the districts you’re talking about, leaving it up to the voters is doing nothing, then we give tacit approval for this kind of coup to be attempted for each and every (R) President elected from here on out.
You talk about eroding the Republic, allowing this kind of thing, resulting in a dual tier Justice system, to go on without a real, tangible response, which is charging people with Treason (it’s what it’s there for) is effectively an end to the Republic.
Not only is the presumption of innocence dismissed by the Democrats so also is the right to defend oneself. Due Process does not enter into their consideration. Even the right not to incriminate oneself is now non-existent.
For them, guilt is established by accusation without regard to the facts of the matter. Defending oneself is obstruction of justice. No trial is necessary. The only thing to be determined is when and how the execution.
Don’t let yourself be consumed by a dislike.
I don’t see anything in his comment as wrong. Many on the left are advancing an idea of “if we don’t like you and accuse you of something, all you can do is apologize, withdraw from the public square and shut up”. The campus tribunals and Twitter-pillorying take this to the extreme.
… Unless you misread his comment and think that is what he thinks, and not “Democrats think” as he stated.
Excellent, as I’ve gotten used to with you guys. The only thing I had a problem with in listening was Bill’s reference to Nancy Pelosi and the “nether region”. Now I require brain bleach to get any possible thought of that out, damn image, out! Anyway, the idiot Democrats who are foaming at the mouth to get Trump out of office have not considered that, if they are able to do that, Pence will become President and I assume can choose his vice-president, which could be Donald Trump. Then Pence could voluntarily retire from office, effectively making Trump president once again, who would then name Pence as his VP. In my weird way, I kind of wish something like that would happen, if only to watch every single Leftist head explode like the Martians in Mars Attacks. Oh, sweet mystery of life, at last I’ve found you! Tee hee!
Convicton in an Impeachment Trial requires a 2/3 majority of the Senate. That means 67 votes too convict. The democrats need 22 Republicans to vote for conviction. Even if Romney, Collins, and a few other Republican squishes vote with the democrats, they can’t get there from here.
