The Justice Department tries to force a book publisher to reveal the Anonymous author of last year’s “resistance” op-ed in The New York Times before “A Warning” from the unknown senior administration official comes out on November 19. President Trump previously called the op-ed “treason” and called for an investigation. Hachette Book Group refuses to comply with a demand to prove the writer hasn’t signed a non-disclosure agreement, and didn’t have security clearance.

I think the better example win ulls have been. Hey, listen Scott. I received an anonymous email from an individual claiming to be a member. They say they wish to not disclose their identity because they are afraid of denial of access to the website or some kind of sabotage on your part that can impact their membership. Now they say you groped little boys (pretty darn cringe, I’m glad Scott didn’t dignify that with an answer) and I need you to keeping you around or not now.
As I see it. If the anonymous source cannot site witnesses, circumstances, AND collaborating evidence, you throw it out the window. Because the coward who makes such an accusation should bear the weight of his witness, which stands by the quality of his word and name if evidence be lacking.
You go, Scott! Bill unleashed is something to see! Kudos to you both
Thanks to Bill and Scott for a great discussion on this anonymous traitor and his or her desperate book.
What a piece of absolute garbage! A Nonymous is simply another Leftist Coward. I recall those anti drug commercials showing an egg frying in a pan and a voice stating “This is your brain on drugs.” Well, that purported tell all book is the Leftist brain on its diet of degradation, revenge and rejection. Trump 2020 KAG.
I have to say that I was not interested in this segment. It all seems very perfunctory to me; both the actions of the government, and the inevitable accusations of wrongdoing. Even assuming the worst of all principals involved, I see partisans being partisans. Maybe I’m just jaded, or maybe compared to what happened last night where I live in Virginia, it just doesn’t seem important at all.
First, I would hope that ALL government employees must sign Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Second, (not being a lawyer) it sounds to me like the DOJ has put the Hachette Book Group on notice with regard to the disclosure of classified or protected information. I say, let them publish. In my mind, if the Hachette Book Group refuses to provide verification of the NDA or that contents has been vetted for any classified information, they cannot plead ignorance of any violations found in the book after publication.
At that point, I think it is reasonable to assume that the Hachette Book Group colluded with the author and should be charged as co-conspirators in any legal action.
The left of left not only denies the right of presumption of innocence along with the right to confront and cross examine your accuser, they deny the right even to know who accuses you. Then, based upon that anonymous accusation, they hold you to be guilty as accused without possibility of defense and have predetermined the sentence.
At the same time, they hold AND announce that they can be guilty of multiple felonies, crimes, or breaches of oath of office and get off without consequence. That is, if they are members of the “right” political party and claim to have good intentions. The good intentions being to reverse a legal federal election simply because they didn’t win that election.
Why do we allow this abomination to continue? It is as if We the People have lost our minds and are willing to discard life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for a promise of not having to be held responsible for any bad decision or action.
What happened to the idea that America once stood for? Isn’t it still worth fighting for? Aren’t there any adults who want to be responsible for themselves. Apparently not enough to make a difference.
