Neil Ferguson from the Imperial College is the guy who released the 2.2 million deaths in the US number from Covid-19. Well it turns out this isn’t the first time he was that far off. He predicted 150,000 people would die in the UK from Mad Cow disease and said they needed to basically kill all farm animals to stop the spread (even though it turned out it mainly only spread through cows). It ended up that 200 people died and billions of Euro’s was lost slaughtering farm animals unnecessarily. Also with the Avian Flu he said 2-7 million would die in best case scenario but up to 200 million could die globally. 440 ended up dying. I can’t believe we shut the entire country down over this guys prediction. A good reminder to take anything so called “experts” say with a grain of salt and used reason, logic, and research to verify anything yourself.
After Repeated Failures it’s Time to Permanently Dump Epidemic Models

I think this is just the tip of the iceberg regarding the intellectual bankruptcy of the western academy.
