A Failure of Leadership

Mostly Tucker has solid opinions. I disagree that I want a “father” to “protect my family” in a President. Instead, I appreciate not having a tyrant grabbing power, usurping governors and mayors. By waiting a beat before demanding a crackdown, Trump fortifies federalism.
Blaming Kuschner or accusing him of manipulating the President is a stretch.
Maybe there are indeed prisoners who could benefit from reexamination of their cases. That many are black is hardly the point, as the President explained when he signed that order freeing many from lengthy sentences.
Tucker is right about expecting power from leaders; addressing that to local leaders first, as he concludes, is vastly superior to piling on to the protests at the White House.
