Honest? I almost stopped watching at “kids in cages” and bristled when Brand mentioned that Trump used “racist tropes” (the racism charges are mostly a media invention).
I continued to watch and agree that he has some valid points.
On the topic of left and right politicians maintaining the status quo, I was at a bar the other night speaking with a woman that I did not know very well. She is 36 and I am 58. She was complaining how hard it was for people to make a living these days and did not appreciate comments from older people about working harder, making sacrifices, etc. I attempted to make the point that working people’s wages are undermined by Republicans and Democrat politicians through immigration and worker visa policies (or lack of enforcement thereof). In my opinion, Republicans do not want enforcement because the Chamber of Commerce does not want it and Democrats don’t want it because they want more voters. To a degree, she conceded my point and asked what can we do about it? I said that all we can do is spread the word until people see that neither party appears concerned about the issue of worker wages.
Russell gave HIS honest and respectful REVIEW of Trumps rally. NO I do not agree with Russell’s OPINION on Trump. Read the subject line/heading again.
Did you even hear what he said about how Trump talks to people and does better than “they do” and that Trump is just like us? and if the left keeps up what the’re doing then Trump will win this election? As for the kids in cages, blm, etc. did you see how many Trump supporters commented on those? on how the pictures were from obama’s watch?
Even though Russell is not a fan of Trump, he acknowledges what the left is doing wrong. I watched a few of these video’s of other than Trump supporter’s and many of them has the same outcome in the comments.
Brandon Straka who started the walk away movement came to the right side and brought thousands with him, because of a comment and a link that debunked what the lame-stream-media was pushing. Glenn Beck and many others are now on the right as well, when they opened their eyes to see and put away their cognitive dissonance.
Sorry. I took it the wrong way. I just get so irritated when those on the left appear to establish what appears to be intolerable behavior from Trump based on lies. I did not think that you agreed with him. I have watched a number of walk away videos. I did listen to what Russel Brand said and that is why I commented that the Republicans and Democrats don’t seem to care about workers.
