I always hated the democrats argument for illegal immigrants… “we need them to do the jobs Americans wont do“
BULLSHIT.
IF I could start up a business doing lawn care or grunt work and not have to pay taxes, or have to be licensed and bonded, or have to pay unemployment and payroll tax. If I didn’t have to pay a dedicated employee to manage the mandatory healthcare negotiations etc etc etc.. Don’t you think I would?
It simply is COST-PROHIBITIVE for me to be in the lawn care business with me and a couple of my buddies.
But for illegal Jose’ he doesn’t have to declare his income. He doesn’t have to pay taxes. He doesn’t have to be licensed and bonded.
All he has to worry about is being deported, where he and his buddy get a comfy ride back to the border and meals & entertainment provided the whole way… and in the end they may just be let go to start over some place else.
What democrats ACTUALLY mean is: the jobs Americans “Can’t” perform due to crushing regulations & taxes.

People here illegally moved well beyond picking vegetables and landscaping quite a while ago. They do roofing, painting and carpentry, all at prices lower than a legal citizen would or could do it. The government should prosecute people who hire illegals and people that find a way to route taxpayer money to them. Since we still have tens of millions of illegals, it seems like the government does not care.
I agree and have always said there is no job a American wouldn’t do that an illegal would if the money was good enough. Back breaking labor picking crops? If you paid a million dollars an hour, people would be lining up. It’s just that illegals do it cheaper.
