Riddle me this: 4-2=4.

My wife works for a company that the vice president and 3 of his buddies were “exposed” to the beer bug.  They all had to go to the same place to get the test and it took so long that 2 of them left.  Two days later the ones that left get a call they tested positive for the beer bug.  They both said we left before they took the test and the person on the phone responds well we have you down as taking the test.  Someone is making a fortune off of this shit.

Either the same story is being told with different situations or there is a lot of the same thing going on (which I find odd, as so many places making the same mistake seems wierd)…
I’ve heard of something just like that, but around here, and with only one person. The second thought I had about the situation was that not only were their non-existant results wrong, but everyone else in the line after them got the results of someone else… if their names were put on 2 other tests, everyone else was off by 2 as well. How many people went about their lives thinking themselves healthy and were instead, supposedly, infecting other people?
I don’t know if there are any actual tests showing non-symptom people can infect others but if so, then not matching names to actual tests and just matching things in order means the whole racket is bust.
