I am not a racist. That needs to be said before you read the following.
I told my wife during the last days of Obama that he did such a great job that America would not vote for a Black person for president in the next 50 years. I will say what most people won’t, but are thinking. “We gave you a chance. Not again”. Harris is going to be one heartbeat (or BOO!) away from becoming Obama 2 or worse. I don’t think America is ready yet. Look how long it took for Chicago to forget Harold Washington.
Did anyone notice how quickly Jill Biden rushed to Joe’s side to keep him steady after the video of the announcement? Biden’s right leg was wobbly and shaking. Hiis wife knows how fragile he is! He looked as if he could barely stand up.If he’s not wearing a catheter strapped to his leg I’ll be surprised. The man is a burned out shell. Sheesh.

She’s a piece of work as President Trump likes to say. The Dems main business appears to be carrying out political hoaxes against the American people.
I’m going to be cynical here. The Democrat power brokers know that Trump is a lock to be reelected. Therefore they nominate an elder statesman of the party as the sacrificial lamb. Nobody likes Kamala Harris. She gets her moment in the spotlight so that she can crash and burn.
Good riddance to both of them.
Biden was NEVER going to pick Michelle Obama. Better stated would be that Michelle Obama would NEVER consent to beIng No. 2 to anyone, especially someone like Biden. I think she would consider that to be well beneath her dignity.
Now, if Biden is forced to step aside after the convention, will the DNC pick Michelle? That has greater merit, but I’m still dubious. She lacks the charm that Barack has and is even more thin-skinned than he. She has a massive chip on her shoulder, and while that may work for the hardcore base, it will turn most people off because she’s very bad at hiding her anger. Also, I think she viewed the White House as a gilded cage and couldn’t wait to escape it. Now, she no doubt wields great influence and rakes in unbelievable wealth, all without having to live under a microscope. Add to that, the DNC (not the President or VP) will be running the show. And again, I don’t think Michelle is capable of playing 2nd fiddle to anyone.

Bill, you were correct about the affair but the man was Willie Brown who had been the Mayor of San Francisco and the very powerful Speaker of the California Assembly. At the time she was early 30s, I think, while he was at least 60 and married. The joke here in CA was that she worked “under Willie Brown”. Once she got the political job that she wanted, she dumped him.
Willie, who is very savvy politically had counseled her to not take the Veep position as it is rare for a VP on a failed ticket to ever achieve the Presidency. Possibly only FDR had accomplished it. He told her to hold out for the Attorney General position in the Biden Administration. And then make a run in ’24 or ’28. Obviously, he thinks Biden’s going to lose.
Harris is a political sociopath. She will do whatever she needs to do to get elected. Check her record and her statements. Definition of schizophrenia (IMHO) Plus being anti 2nd amendment, soft on crime,supports BLM, recommending lowering voting age to 16, letting felons vote.
Sounds like the Democratic platform to me😉
Biden/Harris is the leftist mirror image of McCain/Palin and will be an even worse flop. (Said flop in the McCain ticket due solely to John McCain, I love Sarah Palin.) I agree with Bill that Kamala was a good pick for the opposition’s sake. She’s going to be easy to slag because she’s a petty grasper that managed to climb over a lot of done badly people to where she is now.
There’s a serious lag between where the radical left has taken the Democrat Party and the reflection of that place in the Democrat leadership. This has had the result of the formal Democratic Party picking people that alienate nearly everyone. There’s no meat on the bones for real, revolutionary radical leftists or traditional blue collar Democrats. There are fops to minorities but those ring hollow with many minorities. The Democratic Party is the first institution to be fully compromised and destroyed by leftist thinking. Rioting looters in several major cities, rioting and looting with a tacit if not implicit nod from Democrat leadership of those cities, will still be fresh in the minds of voters come November.
The last bastion of the Democratic Party is “Hey, we’ll buy your votes with meager entitlements” and it remains to be seen how effective that is going to be. Considering that most people would rather live better than can be attained with entitlements I don’t think that is going to save them.
They’re counting on reparations. I’ve heard the number of $800,000 per family.
It’s about time they paid us for all the riots, looting, and destruction they have caused. $800,000 each sounds about right.

Biden won’t survive until the election. My guess is that he will vanish before October 10. Kamala will have eaten him alive and spit out his bones. She will be nominated, by the demented left of left, as First Empress of the Universe and won’t have even a fake running mate.
After all, she has a global economy to ruin (sic) just as Obama planned to do but failed. She thinks she can do that all on her own. She believes all she has to do is command it to be and it will be made so. Then if it doesn’t happen, she will make this summer look like a picnic in the park. You must cooperate or else.
