Is this for real or a spoof? If it’s for real, I gotta see it. I don’t care if I have to crawl over a whole pile of Democrat Zombies that think they’re infected with the Wuhan Flu.
It’s real. Can’t wait! And I haven’t been to a theater since I took my granddaughter to see the Lego movie, so there’s that.
I will forgive you that you didn’t see my post on the same topic from a few days ago. 😉
I am very much looking forward to this. not sure if I will enter a theatre for it, but just might have to.
Tim Allen’s “The Santa Clause” meets Martin Riggs.
Looks like fun.
Hm. Don’t know how I missed your post – I check in here at least twice a day. Sorry ’bout that.
Anyway, it’s a must-see for me. The premise and the presentation, at least as far as the promo goes, are right up my alley, humorwise.
“I’m here for your head, Fatman!”
“You think you’re the first?”
And:
“I want his head. And I want his beard.”
“I’m not shaving off a dead guy’s beard.”
And at the end:
“Good think that’s not Blitzen, she’ll bite your package right off.”
I was dyin’!
no worries, The trailer looks great. Even my wife thought it looked good.
Between this and AppleTV (I think) doing a production of “Foundation” there may be some hope yet.
I am currently reading all the Foundation stories in order.
You mean Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” series is being made into a movie (or hopefully a series of movies or a television series)?
Harry Seldon is going to be so happy.
Yes, that Foundation. Asimov actually published a list to read them in Chronological Order starting with the original robot novels. Pretty cool to do it in order.

Second is the official trailer.
And, sorry to be that guy but Hari Seldon.
Lol, I don’t mind you “being that guy”, I read the Foundation series while I was overseas ’80 – ’83, I was doing well to remember who Hari Seldon was after 40 years or so. Thanks for the correction. I can’t wait to see the show.
In case you’re interested in re-reading:
The Author’s Note of Prelude to Foundation contains Asimov’s suggested reading order for his science fiction books: The Complete Robot (1982) and/or I, Robot (1950) Caves of Steel (1954) The Naked Sun (1957) The Robots of Dawn (1983) Robots and Empire (1985) The Currents of Space (1952) The Stars, Like Dust (1951) Pebble in the Sky (1950) Prelude to Foundation (1988) Note: Forward the Foundation (1993) was then unpublished, but would have followed Prelude. Foundation (1951) Foundation and Empire (1952) Second Foundation (1953) Foundation’s Edge (1982) Foundation and Earth (1986)
Weird Al might have a copyright claim. lol
That’s weird, and weirdly interesting
Right?! It fits my sense of humor perfectly.
