It’s time to leave that country and it’s people to themselves. We went there, initially, to put down a threat. We are drawing down with virtually nothing to show for it. President Trump is making the right decision by getting us out of that quagmire. My only request is that we cut immigration from all those nations. Islam is not a mix for our Republic and leaders from our past have warned about same.
I’m a retired Colonel and former CENTCOM officer, and I concur with Bill’s remarks.

So let it be written, so let it be done! Bring our soldiers in Afghanistan home by Christmas. President Trump is an amazing president and Bill Whittle is a profoundly wise person. MAGA 2020!!
The Taliban should already have been terminated exactly as ISIS was terminated. That it wasn’t, is a deeply serious mistake.
Fact: no amount of US Treasure and no number of dead Americans is going to change Afghanistan into a sane constitutional republic where individual rights are respected. They are going to remain a totally devoid of rationality because of their off the charts irrational religion. Hence, stop the spending of lives and treasure in a totally futile attempt to build a rational nation. They need at least another century of poverty, despair, and death to beat the facts of reality into their solid bone skulls.
If they cause ANY harm on US soil, make sure at least one so called city vanishes along with ALL of its so called citizens. Keep doing this until there is nothing left or they finally submit to the requirements of modern technological civilization. If this means the entirety of their so called barbaric nation is turned into radioactive green glass, it was their choice.

We never had to in the first place. Our lives belong to each of us individually. Just because you are “other” gives you no claim on our lives nor do we have a claim on your life. If the “other” objects by using force, he can be eliminated by force without a second thought.
The so called “collective” by whatever definition can go to hell for all I care because collectives do not exist. Only individuals exist.
Individuals can cooperate to achieve voluntarily accepted common goals. Collectives can’t think, choose, nor act no matter what the self selected leaders of the collective say. Such “leaders” should be the first to go into that long dark cold night. Ultimately, our lives depend upon it.
Back in the post Vietnam era the Grunts had a great attitude about that kind of thing. We had a lot of “cool” sayings and the pertinent one here went —
“Let us win your hearts and minds or we’ll burn your f**king huts down.”
