So during the Debate – When Biden brought up a “living min wage” PDT correctly told him that states could set their own minimum wage. Biden mumbled something and gave that stupid grin. But a (very) quick check of minimum wage by state (I’d post a link, but seriously it was one freakin’ click, I think you can handle it) shows that the 50 states plus DC do indeed set their own minimums. They break out as follows and range from $5.15 (for a certain type of job classification in 3 states) to $15.00 (DC Only).
States with higher than Federal Minimum Wage – 30 (including DC)
States with same as Federal or No state min – 18
State with lower for some job, federal for others – 3
So 21 at Federal, 30 at something higher.
If you don’t like working at $7.25 per hour, be able to do something that earns more than that. The true minimum wage is still $0.00

Agreeing with the Piz, I don’t think it is as much “not understanding” as “not liking” and wanting the power to set things at his level of government (and getting all of the credit) instead of telling people he’d rather give bread and circuses to speak to their 53 local govs (putting PR, the VI and DC at the level of the states)
Joe biden is the perfect poster child for term limits.
Chuck and Nancy would like a word.
Chuck has been an elected official since 1975 – NYS Assy
House 1981 to 1999, Senate since then.
Nancy Chair of CA dem party 81-83
Serving in House since 1987.
But you are correct and I wish PDT had hammered home the fact Joe was first elected in 1973.
For the left, the national government is the only government.
