I’d fly on that plane! (As long as they didn’t require a health certificate.)
I remember an analysis of all in the family. Among the many points I recall these most clearly. You will notice it did a lot of heavy lifting on the road to laugh at the Values of the previous generations. No Archie had not gone to college. He went to war. He came home adjusted to civilian life again, got married and took care of his family. This included his useless son in law. Who took every opportunity to destroy the beliefs and honorable practices of the upright generations of people who went before.
This was in reality the program that pushed us toward the unpleasant society we have become. Filthy unwatchable storylines on TV have become the norm.
Which reminds me of another statement about the fall of Rome. They began to destroy the morals and mores of their culture until finally there was nothing left that held them together.
