Twitter loses nearly 2% of company share value over Trump ban.

Twitter, showing their support for America, the President and Freedom of Speech removed Donald Trump’s tweets on Thursday and suspended his account for 12 hours.

The company’s shares dropped 1.8% by the close of day. This is likely due to the 89 million followers the President has, accounting for around 48% of their daily monetisable active users.

I really hope that he switches to Parler.

Well, TeamTrump (campaign account) is on Parler. So there’s that. Right now, though, it’s like there’s radio silence. Only posts have been the official statements.

Seems like he’s thrown in the towel on the election theft. I know people are desperate for him to still be fighting, but his statements don’t leave much wiggle room.

Not only did he throw in the towel, he sent himself into exile.

After the invasion of the Capitol Building there can and will be no Trump 2024.

Maybe Trump wanted to go back to private life and decided he had to burn the last bridge to be able to do so without being called back by even die hard believers.

He did do something the country really does need.

We will get the full Boring Biden Bubonic Plague without the haze of having Trump around to distract us from it.

So, Parler or just going away, Twitter will be without Trump and his followers.

Goodbye Twitter!

I’m firmly of the belief that the federal government is completely illegitimate at this point, and that there will be no future elections at the federal level until a major conflict changes the situation. Elections at the state level might be okay, if you’re living in a free state that doesn’t use electronic voting equipment.

Yeah, I agree the depth of the corruption would not have been exposed were it not for Trump. For all the bad things about him – and I don’t mean tweeting, I mean his failures to remove those aligned against America and either eliminating their positions altogether or replacing them with Constitutionalists – his populist behaviors have forced a lot of hands, even at the state level.

Trump is the bad-tasting medicine you need to take to get better. And now we’re all having to swallow it.
