Yes, new rules and proceedures for voting sound great, and they would be if not consistantly blocked by the entrenched elite pols and courts stacked with socialists, msm and Hollywood hacks. But I believe Bill is right to start at your county courthouse and run for office. Get a voice in the game with a county commisioner seat. Yes, be ready for combat, but remember you have as much right as those others around the table to speak your principles, have courage! By the way, I state these things because I believe it, and also to bolster my own courage for a local run. I do not relish the socialist crap that will be thrown my way, backed up by local media, but so be it. We have got to step it up!

This is an excellent start. I think the key structural governmental changes needed are:
Repeal of the 17th Amendment, reestablishing actual Federalism.
Setting congressional apportionments so that a Representative represents only 75,000 actual citizens. This number was chosen from the demographic average over the first hundred years of the USA.
This would require a much larger, and unruly House of Representatives, presently 3,067, and must always be an odd number. It also would be one that was ACTUALLY REPRESENTATIVE of the people, not corporate lobbyists! A citizen could even KNOW his Congressman!
In so deemphasizing said Representatives, making them citizen representatives, pay for the Office should be set at the average annual income of the American people in the prior two year period. To make this fairer, take one of the monumental unconstitutional Departments office complexes, say the Dept. of Education, and convert it to mandatory congressional dormitories, not lavish, but comfortable, free of charge for the members. Even if you are a multimillionaire, you must stay in the dorm!
Public service would actually BE public service! Persistence in office would not engender great wealth! It would take genuine needs in order for federal legislation to pass, and the check of the federalist State appointed Senators would further check largesse!

My God, man. Over 3,000 representatives? You’re mad! I can’t even imagine that many politicians in one building. No one would ever get anything done!

We need an engineer, a psychologist, and a Nietzsche scholar to go over our government with a scalpel and bludgeon, I swear.

Unless there’s a constitutional amendment barring regulation of business and commerce, keeping legislators in effective penury would lead to even more bribery than there is now. We have to take away the government’s powers to interfere with non-harmful, voluntary associations, of which commerce is one.

Bribes for over 3000 would bankrupt even George Sorros quickly. But I would put a limit on dorm time, one, maybe two weeks max per month. With the rest being spent having to live among us. Setup a VPN or something so being home isn’t an excuse not to vote on legislation. Make a constitutional amendment banning and delegitimizing all voting unless each legislators individual vote is on the public record. I.E. no more “unanimous consent.”

This is really good. I agree that this is the place to start. Especially in NJ we need voter reform. There are counties in this state where there are more registered voters on the rolls than there are residents of eligible age.

I have no desire to have to govern. I have no interest in having to compromise and work for consensus. I want to govern me. That’s all.

And if the republic collapses because I didn’t deign to govern, they we deserve to collapse.

I agree that we need these election standards in place 180 days before the 2022 elections and thereafter!

As a thought for our current legislators what about a national registry of federal, state and local representatives showing their approval of these election standards. And if not, why?

Transparency would include a questionnaire showing support of these standards or their preferred options. Without the knowledge of electors positions on our electoral systems the patriots have no reason to believe in the results, which is an absolute necessity!

While this registry is implemented there must be Special Prosecutors assigned to both the 2016 and 2020 elections!

Bill, Bill, Bill. Righteous thoughts, good ideas, but how are they going to be implemented when the Democrats have seized the reins of power. It is unreasonable to believe that now that the Democrats have taken control of the Executive and Legislative Branches there will be anything done to “correct” the flaws in our electoral system. That’s what got them where they are. Why on earth would these corrupt, deceitful, vengeful people to do ANYTHING to reform that system? That will never happen. If they are successful in adding DC and PR as states, eliminating the filibuster and packing SCOTUS, we are no longer a Democratic Republic, we are instead a Banana Republic, controlled by an iron fisted government that will never willingly give up control.
This country is about to be “Fundamentally Transformed” in ways we can not yet imagine. We are where the citizens of Russia were in 1918, the Italians were in 1922, the Germans were in 1933 and the Venezuelans were in 1998. It didn’t work out well for any of them except a radical elite, did it? I hope Trump will ignore calls to preserve his “legacy” and fight on. I hope he will indeed shun the inauguration. Why lend legitimacy to this farce? I hope he will use his money to start up a new “Twitter” and “Facebook” or at least bolster “Parler” and “WeMe”. I hope he will start his own cable network, maybe “TNN”, to battle CNN and MSNBC, and replace Fox News, which is gradually going over to the “Dark Side”. He can remain a force for good against the evil which has overtaken us.
I pray for the best, but am planning for the worst.

Point number 9 can be engineered even smarter: with two independent agencies, there’s the possibility that they criminally collude with each other. But there’s some basic cryptographic principles we can apply here where we say there must be, say 3 agencies, and each ballot is sent to only 2 of them, but which two is determined by a hash. You use some really simple math to get the vote total from the 3 different agencies, but then you have the additional security that you can audit that a ballot was counted the same way for each of the 2 agencies, and they can’t coordinate because they don’t know who they were supposed to coordinate with.

The reason for weighted voting to exist is that there are legitimate situations for voting software to apply weighted voting – the most obvious being corporate voting, where a user’s weight is equal to their share percentage. Where Dominion Voting Systems utterly fails is that it’s easy to switch between weighted voting and non-weighted voting, and there’s also very poor visibility into which mode the system was in when the ballot was counted. A system that allows for weighted voting would basically need to print in big bold letters which mode it was in on every ballot it counted.

Dominion should never be allowed to be used in the United States of America for any of our elections. No machine that is programed with the option for doing anything but counting our votes should be eliminated from our elections.

Scott Adams pointed out a month ago just how ridiculous electoral security is by comparing it to how banks operate: regular and open audits, different banks responsible for monitoring each other’s books, all sorts of security practices built in. Frankly, we should use the sorts of agencies that audit Bank systems to help design the security features.

Except now “we” is the Democratic Power in charge of EVERY Committee in the legislature and the executive branch.

I like the ideas – however – as in the most recent general election, the rules that were in place were not followed, there was poor enforcement and no penalty for blatant fraud. When the laws and rules are ignored, we have an entirely different problem.
These ideas are compelling, but lets think of a simpler more transparent and reliable system. The bitcoin blockchain algorithm (open source) comes to mind, as much as I mistrust computerized systems – bitcoin provides a transparent and PUBLIC ledger. Whatever the solution, the public should be able to see the voting happen in real-time and verifiably.
Also, as we live in a democratic republic, the rules all have to be approved by a “deliberative body” in each sate. It is hard to get agreement in such a system, even by ONE party – but be sure that the progressives will only agree to the rules they can bend for their own corrupt purposes.

The fact of the matter is, battleground states cheated. Paid overseas individuals to hack and change the votes in the Dominion server in Germany. One person has already testified to this in an Italian court. Said “he and several others did this on November 4th in the early morning hours” in order to change the results of our elections. Literally turning Trumps votes into Bided votes. And our media asks “Where is the evidence?” Its in Italy in an italian court you asshat dumbasses!

Some people start adding requirements that actually undermine some fundamental requirements.
The secrecy of vote is an important factor — not only for protection of the voting individual, but is a countermeasure against vote harvesting. A simple attack on the system is just pay $ for voting a certain way. With secret voting the transaction can not be ensured: I can just take the money and then vote whatever I like anyway. The buyer would like to have proof before handing over the money.
For that reason it is normally forbidden to have cameras like mobile phone in the booth.
The schemes that would give you a copy of the ballot or a code you can unpack to verify it was counted some way allows the above attack.
The electronic voting has a ton of research over decades, there are some solutions with different balance on the remaining risks. But most of those are aiming everyday, frequent voting.
For a general election that happens only every 2 or 4 years I see no reason to use computers at all. What is the problem with human reps of involved parties to do the count independently or simultaneously — tally the agreed votes and put aside the debated ones. And submit the agreed totals from the *small* voting districts. The same people who during the day verified the eligibility of the people who showed up.

GOOD THAT HUNTER LOST THIS JOB…A comment I made to an article about the Hunter laptop. Something much worse was in the works when Hunter came back from China and dad was VP he immediately got a age waiver to allow him to join the Navy over age 40 enlistee in an intel job that also needed a waiver for his cocaine conviction…within the first month he was caught dirty with cocaine before he could steel Navy secrets.

I want ballot integrity, and I want a receipt of who I voted for. Here’s how I want to see voting happen.

  1. Precinct voting.
  2. I want to go online, put in my precinct number, and be able to select my candidates (vote my ballot). I can A) print out my ballot or B) I can save my ballot online and print it out at the precinct on the day of the election, or C) I can vote and have a ballot printed out at the precinct on the day of the election. I can go online as many times as I want and fill out and print a ballot. The only one that counts is the one I walk into the precinct. That lets me change my mind up to the day of the election. If my ballot is destroyed between my car and the poll book it can be printed again at the precinct.
  3. The ballot will show the name of the each office up for election in English and the candidate for whom I voted in bar code, preserving the secrecy of my vote. (A write-in name can also be shown in bar-code.)
  4. My voter ID number is in bar-code on the ballot. This preserves one unique ballot for each registered voter.
  5. At the precinct I will sign the poll book.
  6. Ballots are stamped with the date of the election and a stamp unique to the precinct.
  7. Ballots are then scanned in black-and-white, and a permanent record of that scan is maintained in government archives. The original ballot is returned to the voter.
  8. People absent from their precinct on the day of voting may mail in their ballot, or have their ballot walked in by a friend or relative. It must be received on election day in an envelope that contains a signature that matches the one in the poll book. That ballot will be marked with the precinct stamp, and a stamp that identifies it as received as absentee. It will then be scanned as others are scanned and the original may be mailed to the voter’s registered address (within the precinct). A number of absentee ballots that is greater than the difference in votes between ANY two candidates on the ballot will trip an audit of the voters of the absentee ballots.
  9. At any time between voting at the precinct and when the election is certified I should be able to go online and look at the scan of the ballot there, to see if it matches the one in my possession.

If you can keep your cell phone, your driver’s license, or your keys, you can keep your ballot in a safe place until the election is certified, or longer. You can also take a photo of your ballot.

We see how on line can be co-opted by greater technical power. It sounds good but it is decidedly skewed since we don’t have unniversal Internet that is 100% reliable. I have HughesNet and have been off air. The technocrats just shut down Parlor and elections were likely skewed by online interconnections and manipulation that, like the engineers plan avoids, has variviable and redundancy. You may see a vote but it may be coded to report the opposite and confirm to you what you expect. To you chagrin, everyone voted for your guy but he or she looses in a “close race” though you can’t find one person who voted for the other candidate.

I like it. I like it a lot. My thoughts on it are not a criticism but mostly from lessons learned.
The issues we had in AZ and that we saw in GA included poll watchers who saw issues with the way the election was being conducted but didn’t have a way to do anything about it. Maybe a poll watcher hotline is needed.
Also, in both those states, the legislature called for a forensic audit and the county refused. A mandatory audit is needed before the results are certified. In AZ, the Governor and Secretary of State certified the results of the election even as testimony was being given before the state legislature of issues with the election.
In AZ, we have many of those laws on the books (the ones on the website mentioned in the One Job video) they were simply ignored. We need to get involved in the election process.
If the materials are going to be kept for 22 months does that mean an elected official would be unseated who is found to have not been duly elected in an audit several months later? What would the chain of custody look like for 22 months? We would want to avoid the possibility of the ballots being altered after the election to remove a duly elected person, that is, to have the vote stolen from them retroactively.
What mechanism would be put in place to allow poll watchers of various parties? How would we accommodate poll watchers while disallowing the block of vote processing if one side decided to send no observers, knowing that the election could not proceed in their absence?
I also listed this post in the Member blog.

And you now know why the Democrats worked so hard to get their own candidates in as Secretaries of State in as many states as they could. Meanwhile, Republicans sat on their duffs because who wants to run for Secretary of State? There’s no power there, or so they through.

There is only one party. Those that have been elected. The number of those that buck the system are too rare to be of significance. Sadly.

Very interesting comment about the Tea Party – we depended on politicians ! So true. I would say also that the Tea Party gave birth to the MAGA movement.

There is one rather large omission in that manifesto: VOTERS HAVE TO BE CITIZENS. Also, to call the bluff of, “Well, it’s too hard for poor people to get photo ID’s!”: we know that the DMV and so forth has the ability to print reasonably secure ID’s within a few minutes. Make that technology portable (shouldn’t be too hard), and create, as the British would say, a “flying squad” for those few people who don’t have driver’s licenses. Need a photo ID to vote? Make an appointment online, and our folks will come to you at your residence, place of work, wherever! We’ll validate your information, get your picture taken, and crank out an ID for you, all within 15 minutes! Every proposal for voting reform needs to have this in it, because that absolutely knocks down any suggestion of suppression.

Very good! I like this flying squad.
This takes away a false dichotomy from the left, where they say that because a few random guys “can’t” get an ID, that voter ID checking is unfair. This type of pragmatic solution gives reasonable alternatives to argue for when these bogus vote suppression cases are taken to court.

I would add simply make Photo IDs (not DLs) free. That way there is no issue with cost. It is a truly infinitesimal cost, and a way to secure someone identity. Also this would put the person into a system that could verify they are not in multiple states databases, so no cross line voting.

I take no credit for this, whatsoever but my Brother and I had a long conversation with Brent (my Father) about it, bouncing ideas back and forth on New Years Day, the evening before he flew down to meet with the others and run the committee and make the whole thing.
I’m glad to hear you talk about it.

Very well thought out, very reasonable & very doable…but…how do we folks in states like Washington, who have been locked into all mail in voting for at least a decade, change that? Our gubbermint here is & has been ruled by Democrats for a very, very long time. They are entrenched. The whole State is controled by King County & the I-5 corridor from north to south.

My immediate thought would be to help win fights to audit mail-in ballots in other states where it is still new & contentious. WHEN fraud is proven there, take that as justification to file fresh lawsuits to force audits in Washington State.
Force them to work harder to cheat. Force MORE people to have to be involved to do it (more possible whistleblowers). Force them to prove the system is fair.
It’s become a hard situation, but it will only get harder if we don’t try now. I am in California but I was watching closely when Dino Rossi’s election was absolutely stolen from him. If there had been more awareness and outrage by patriots, I think it could have helped.

Blockchain-based voting, mathematically verifiable.
I think MIT is working on such a voting system — we can help support it, raise awareness, give publicity, etc. I’m sure it won’t be popular with democrat elites (who know what’s up) but the rank and file would think it’s a good idea, so the elites would be in a bind.

I wondered why we simply don’t get a small tear-off tab on the ballot with a number that we can later look up in the system to verify our vote anonymously. This could also be used as verification of miscounted vote by producing this tab. Just a thought from years ago.

I would change just one thing: replace “the internet” with “any network.” If there are only two tabulation machines talking to one another, e.g. over Bluetooth, it’s a network. Another example: Connecting to the manufacturer’s proprietary network via proprietary means. It’s not the internet.

OK, two things: It needs to be more detailed so there are no possible ways to worm your way around the rules.

And I would like to see penalties listed as in failure to comply will result in a loss of all votes for any county not adhering to regulations.

Had to laugh out loud when I hit the link for the 14 point election integrity document and saw Kootenai County GOP. I live next door in Spokane County and have for years tried to get a movement for eastern Washington to succeed to IDAHO. We here in Washington are locked down. I am very lucky it is just 30 miles away and I can go to a place where I can live like it was 2018 almost. It is such a breath of fresh air over in IDAHO. Just was informed by my state representative Washington legislature will meet virtually. What a joke. GOD BLESS IDAHO.

I would only add that any provisional ballot must be obtained in person from a non partisan official of the state. For anyone not able to go to the appropriate office to get such a ballot, an official will come to you. No ballots should ever be given to or accepted from any party other than the voter.

Excellent Bill , I’m sure the average person could know a law needs to be readable to be passed. The Democrats would faint dead away if they had to have fair elections.
