A few more thoughts on voting process.
- All counted ballots are to be scanned and made available online prior to vote count being declared. These must be traceable to the individual ballots cast so the public can verify the count by whichever method they choose.
- ballots are to counted for each physical ballot box and those ballots must remain as a set throughout the process and for the 22 months retention period.
- ballot boxes must be monitored for the full duration of the vote and verifiable by monitors at each stage. verified empty at the start and end of the process, monitor-able throughout the vote, with a full chain of custody by named individuals who can be verified by interested parties.
- Voter rolls must be publicly available at the election office and online at minimum 90 days prior to the election so they can be verified by any interested party.
- The voter rolls must include Full name, address, the date at which the entry was added and by whom, and a note of the type of identification used to id the voter.
- The process to challenge ineligible voters must be available online and at the election office at during office hours.
anyone got any more comments?
I would be happy to generate a process for a ‘recommended election’ if it would be useful.
We should add the reason why each requirement is added to make the case.

Just proposals must safeguard the secret ballot- and even if not linked to how one voted, there are many who would be harmed by open publishing of their name and address. Any verification linking a specific voter and their ballot must hide that voter’s identifiable information as much as possible. Personal enemies, woke mobs, and evil beaurocrats must not be enabled to target voters for their choices.
Agreed. the ballot must remain secret
Also, There will need to be provisions for those who have good reason to remain anonymous on the voter rolls. This must have some mechanism for verification that retain the voter privacy.
hmm, cant edit the OP …
The number of ballots in each box are to be recorded in real time, both in hardcopy and published to the internet live.
The hardcopy of the voters who cast ballots in each box are to be made available for audit.
The voters who voted at each location are to be published online as soon as voting has closed.
I especially like #2 and #5.
The issues we had in AZ and that we saw in GA included poll watchers who saw issues with the way the election was being conducted but didn’t have a way to do anything about it. Maybe a poll watcher hotline is needed.
Also, in both those states, the legislature called for a forensic audit and the county refused. A mandatory audit is needed before the results are certified. In AZ, the Governor and Secretary of State certified the results of the election even as testimony was being given before the state legislature of issues with the election.
In AZ, we have many of those laws on the books (the ones on the website mentioned in the One Job video) they were simply ignored. We need to get involved in the election process.
If the materials are going to be kept for 22 months does that mean an elected official would be unseated who is found to have not been duly elected in an audit several months later? What would the chain of custody look like for 22 months? We would want to avoid the possibility of the ballots being altered after the election to remove a duly elected person, that is, to have the vote stolen from them retroactively.
What mechanism would be put in place to allow poll watchers of various parties? How would we accommodate poll watchers while disallowing the block of vote processing if one side decided to send no observers, knowing that the election could not proceed in their absence?
In hopes of being seen, I am planning to post this on the video comment list as well.
Your last question is something that wouldn’t have occurred to me. It’s a real possibility. There would have to be harsh punishments for party or campaign officials and for the candidate.
Perhaps if the times and locations of ballot counting are declared ahead of time, that would be sufficient. In the case of Georgia poll watchers, they were deceived into thinking ballot counting had stopped. Counting outside of the declared time would be illegal.
failing to follow election rules must be backed up by severe penalties for those responsible. Make the count supervisors personally liable – many years in prison, if they break the rules.
many of the issues with government across the west are down to governments granting themselves immunity.
I agree.
The ballots would have to be guarded during any down time. I think no down time is better. And guards anyway.
