The Sherman Tank and Chocolate Won WWII

Interesting to note that as inferior in design as the Sherman tank was to the German Panzer, the Panzer proved ineffective for three reasons. Too slow, too complicated and too few. The beauty of the Sherman wasn’t in it’s technology, but in it’s simplicity. Mass production killed the Panzer.  The Germans simply couldn’t kill enough fast enough. Shermans were easy to fix while the Panzer was not. Scotty of Star Trek made the comment about the excelsior after he disabled it, “the more complicated the plumbing, the easier it is to stop it up.” To further demoralize the Germans suffering from shortages on all fronts, realized the war was over when they found chocolate bars on captured Americans.  If America can supply tanks and chocolate at the same time, we have no chance. The left are  like the Germans, over bloated, complicated and caught in their own morass. We are the Shermans, light and maneuverable, and chocolate is our joyous, optimistic love of country. They may have the power right now, but we can out produce them.
