Bill has had a hard time lately, yet he still turns up for work and churns out content for us. He really really needs to take some time of for the health of his mind and body, let alone his poor voice-box. A good 2 weeks at least should be in order. I urge all members to chime in here in this post and elsewhere, including on his facebook page when he announces “questions please. ” I’d also urge Scott and Steve to do the same thing and work to take up some of the considerable slack that would result. Bill needs this, although I’m sure he will only do it grudgingly. He would come back refreshed and full of energy. So please follow my lead and chime in!

April isn’t a busy month anyway.
I am 100% for this, I am a relatively new member and I will not be disappointed at all if he takes a couple weeks off to recharge his batteries. My job isn’t 1/10th as stressful as his and I always take a week or two off straight every year just for my own sanity.

I originally posted this in TSL qustions in late March, then reposted again in comments of a Right Angle. Martin is right, and this is a really good place to post my concerns again. Here goes:

Everything you do on BWDC has You in it. With 24 hours in a day, there is not enough time for you to get everything done you want to do.
Consider letting Zo, Steve and Scott do a few right angles to give you and your voice a break. They are so talented and came come up with topics that will be informative and on point and worthy of BWDC.
Remember back in the PJTV days? You had, “Freedom’s Charter”, a “Hair of the Dog” and “Week in Blogs” and “ZoNation”…that really spread the load on you.
I know that there was an entire(probably highly) PAID production team at the old PJ, but still, you guys are now producing really adequate production quality R/A’s and still snappy looking firewalls, obviously on a tight budget.
Can you explain why you wouldn’t be able to add more Steve, Scott and Zo Right Angles independently of having you to yap it up with them?
If it’s lack of money to pay them, how much extra do you need? Transparency is good and in your favor on this topic.
Dude, we love you. We care about your physical and mental health. I’ve met your better half in Carmel at one of your speaking engagements. She deserves a rested and healthy husband too. It’s time to let the other 3 shine and carry some more load so YOU can rest your voice, or work more on your CGI and screenplay.
Two Weeks without a tired, diminished-in-spirit Bill Whittle is a small trade for not getting all the content the membership signed up for, and besides, take my advice to heart, ask Zo to be part of some R/A’s and have Scott and Steve take the lead. I think the membership would respond in a positive way
yes – surely Zo can stand in for Bill for the RA’s for 2 weeks. I would hope so anyway
