I read an article that had Trump working with Newt and a few others on a new style “Contract for America” for the 2022 mid-terms. There seems to be some hope that R can retake the house.
Here is my thought. The Speaker of the House does not need to be a member of the House of Representatives.
DJT could be speaker of the house in 2023 putting him back as third in line for the presidency.

If you’re crazy you’re in good company as I read a few other people making the point about the lack of Congressional membership requirement for Speaker.
Impeaching him into office probably would not work unless the Senate was turned over.
I am cautiously optimistic about the midterms for reasons not strictly against the Dems cheating. Midterms tend to be less of a focus for most voters on the left. We won’t have as much mail in voting. We might not have as much sneaky money sent to the clerks offices for mail in and other ballot operations (or we might, or in some places none with the laws having been changed). The historical trend has also been for the party out to gain seats but that I don’t count quite as much.
I saw a suggestion recently that Trump should run for congressman in Florida and then take Speaker position.
Elect Trump as Speaker … Then impeach Biden and Harris … During the span between ’22 and ’24 clean up the election laws and processes so the D’s can’t cheat again and Trump gets re-elected to serve a second term (because it won’t count if he serves less than half a term, he’s still entitled to two full terms).
Effectively giving us 9 – 10 years of Trump.
The irony is too delicious to contemplate. Still …
It would be fun. The real trick is impeaching them quickly enough so that a new VP is not appointed. Don’t think the Senate would ever go for it, but maybe you impeach Kamala for something and before a new VP is sworn in, 25th Amendment on Joe.
