I think the Al Pachino movie in my mind is “Scent of a Woman” where he plays a blind man, dances a tango with some hot actress, and defends a private school boy who wouldn’t rat out his
friendsclassmates and is getting railroaded by the school – gives a great speech at the end about Integrity.I am not sure how much influence the Chi-com red money has in US newsrooms, since I think most of the people there already agree with the Party, so they’re just getting paid to publish what they already were.

I have a friend that worked as a temp in a factory and the work was repackaging the recalled Tylenol.
Dr (RADM) Frank Young was the head of the FDA when the Tylenol poisoning and Chilean grape poisoning took place. He handled both superbly. Ironically, Dr Fauci knew Dr Young back in the day. I knew RADM Young when he was the head of the Office of Emergency Preparedness for the National Disaster Medical System as Deputy Assistant Secretary of HHS. Great man, great leader, perfect man for that job. Too bad he wasn’t alive to head up Operation Warp Speed.
I’m loving when The Radical Left fumes over us using their tactics. I’ve dropped this term here before, but it’s beautiful watching their artillery getting overrun and the cannons flipping around and raining Laeftist ordnance on their heads.
The only problem we have is the cannon balls go “right over their heads”. The Radical Left is so blind and deaf they don’t even realize the boomerang effect of their excrement hitting the fan and being flung back at themselves.
The Radical Left has been frantically searching for their next Emmanuel Goldstein. They tried auditioning Tucker and DeSantis, even Margorie Taylor Greene, but none of them had the same appeal as Cheeto Hitler. So now they’ve just settled for naming half of the country as their enemy

Much like Phil below, I would like to know more about the % increase data.
Is this a recovery to the mean after a dip that was driven by people essentially being inside?
Is this a bounce above the mean beyond the levels prior to people staying home?
What is the real trend over a period of time? My suspicion is that the trend continues, and normalized would still show an increase over where the trendline would have been. But we need data to support that.
Even if it just recovery to the mean, those cities policies need to be revisited and that argument can be made without stating these inflated stats.
What was the increase over the same time in Plano, TX? (note I don’t know the answer and that percentage could be large because and increase to 3 from 1 is a large percentage increase).

What I’ve usually heard about the murder numbers are increases over last year, which was also an increase over the year before.
What ran through my head when Zo said amps at 10 are really at 20 was “kinda like the 2.2 pounds to a kilogram conversion”
