It appears many students are upset about the paintings depicting Floyd as Jesus. Despite the artist claiming the images are of Jesus and Floyd, the University continues to deny or do anything about the pictures.
SRLs celebrate criminals as heroes. And if they can malign faith and religion in that process, then they are pleased.

We live in a truly sick time when America is building statues of George Floyd while tearing down statues of George Washington.
