Where’s inspector Javert when you need him?
Amazing in other situations we see on videos these days is that the bystanders would much rather whip out their cell phones and video it than stop it as this elderly lady did.
What really bothers me though with these Soros-backed DA’s is it reminds me of an old Batman movie where the Joker, Riddler, Catowman, and Penguin are all in their hideout celebrating when Batman has been sidelined because they will have the run of Gotham city. I imagine this same scene happening in many warehouses across blue-controlled cities.
Granny took the hood off the hood.
Makes me wonder if I’d do the same. I wish I could say, “without a doubt”. But now that the “Canadian
womanwho happens to be older than I am” (read- Granny) gave us Social Proof to do the same, it’s time for all of us to get up and dance like the goofy guy. Let’s Go……I often wonder where are the men in situations like this, why did it take a grandma starting to push back for any man to do anything.
Note it was a guy who first called him out. Granny just joined in. And it was the guy who pulled the cart back to prevent him from exiting with it.
Never thought I’d see the day when we would have to look to
Canada to find push-back against tyranny.
Kindness isn’t weakness, eh?
I believe the solution to the Soros sponsored DA’s is to visit directly upon them that which they refuse to prosecute. Not going to prosecute theft? Okay, store owners go together and hire thugs to rob them of EVERY single item from their home. Not going to prosecute simple battery? Ok, you get the drill. It is easy to purposely ignore crimes when it is not happening to you.
Our current situation with the brazen shoplifters reminds me of the
Milgram Obedience Experimentwhere the unwitting test subject it ordered to electrocute the fake test subject repeatedly. Where we are told comply and not intervene when we see such things and tolet the authorities handle itwhich really bothers me. I am no vigilante but at the same time, letting people get hurt or robbed because I don’t have a badge is moral cowardice. If I recall correctly, there was a follow up experiment done with the
Obediencemodel in mind, but this time they had two unwitting subjects, and they found that when one resisted the urge to do evil then they were more likely to stop. This hero proves that when she stood up thebravecamera man did so as well.Great video, gents!
But but but he NEEDED that stuff. So if he NEEDED it, it was OK to just take the stuff he NEEDED. Do we understand nothing? Call you SF, LA, NYC DAs for a crash course on this.
C’mon guys. The thief wouldn’t be armed. It’s Canada, eh?
Also, even though Canada will prosecute faux crimes (“hate speech” anyone?), they are unlikely to charge Gram against a strong young shoplifter. In NYC, she would be portrayed as Dirty Sophia. 😉
This does remind me of a time in my youth when any neighbor who saw you doing something wrong could correct such behavior. Then they would call your parents and tell them what you had done so you could get in trouble twice.
(Not that this ever applied to me, I was always well beha . . . oh who am I kidding?)
Now people record others doing wrong and post it on social media which helps not at all.
“Morally corrupt nation”
spot on.
She says: “You just jack up the price for everyone else.”
What struck me was the other miserable cowards standing nearby who didn’t get involved themselves, instead leaving it to the little old lady.
Yes. The majority of human beings are both cowardly and lacking virtue in that they would rather allow crimes to occur than be inconvenienced.
Of course, there are those who are just plain oblivious to their surroundings, but what we witness in this video clip is not that.
I could very well be mistaken, but I had the distinct impression that the guy who initially challenged the perp, “Hey, you gonna PAY for that?” grabbed the shopping cart while Granny was tearing the mask off the perp and berating him verbally. Between having to schlep the bicycle and dragging the cart through the door, the perp decided to keep the bike (it may have been his, along with the backpack) and flee.
So the guy who challenged the perp effectively alerted Granny and when the perp pissed off Granny for shoving his way through the door in front of her, that’s when Granny decided enough was enough. So kudos for the guy challenging the perp in the first place.
I was hoping someone walking outside was going to steal his (surely stolen) bicycle while he was wresting for the cart. I love justice!
Yep, and he certainly wouldn’t have wanted anyone taking his stuff, now would he?
Allen, I saw the same thing. ORC’s know there is power in numbers, and we just saw a pretty good tag team of 2 to defeat a hood.
What genuinely surprises me is that we haven’t seen any vigilantiism (sp) toward any of the Soros DAs. And no, I’m not suggesting nor hoping that it starts happening, because when it does things will escalate quickly – by and against both The Radical Left as well as us Normals.
That expression “Soros DA” should be a curse. In fact, I think I’ll start using that rather than an f-bomb.
I think that the phrase Soros DA is becoming a genuine curse – you never hear The Radical Left using that as a compliment. Right now they’re in the stage of ignoring the phrase – when we start hearing them labeling it a slur, “misinformation”, or better still, a Russian psy-op, we’ll know that they truly fear the phrase
