Is Canadian Trucker Rebellion Bound for Triumph to the Tune of 1975s ‘Convoy’?

Bill Whittle has seen such a rebellion before, and it should make you sing with joy…Convoy!

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau refuses to meet with a group of truckers he brands as White supremacists. But averting his gaze can’t stop the world from seeing a convoy 40-to-70 miles long as they take a stand against his vaccine mandate. Bill Whittle has seen such a rebellion before, and it should make you sing with joy…Convoy!

Tyrants do everything they can to maintain control. Not only did they attempt to steal the money given to support the truckers. The latest illegal response to the protest was to have the police steal fuel intended to keep trucks running to prevent freezing to death. At least they haven’t started murdering truckers to get them to back down…yet.

I did and was happy to do so. If our American truckers show the same spunk and spirit, and I really think they will, I will support them twice as hard.

Interesting that many of these “white supremacist racist intolerant” truckers are Sikhs. PM Blackface Crudeau may want to do some research before he sounds off.

Ha ha – Go Fund Me has backed down from its fraudulent attempt to steal the money donated to the Freedom Convoy, by redistributing it to charities it deems worthy – BLM, Planned Parent Hood, Greenpeace, PETA and any other aberrant outfit it can find. Florida’s Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) called the initial plan “a fraud” and tweeted on Saturday morning that he was going to work with Attorney General Ashley Moody “to investigate these deceptive practices.”

Hey! Who downvoted my comment??? Maybe for misinformation? Re-reading it, the first sentence isn’t very clear. Gofundme (#GOTRUCKYOURSELF) initially claimed it was going to re-distribute the donations to other organizations (presuming one’s it deemed worthy) if those who donated didn’t request a refund within a certain period of time. DeSantis’ investigation is on Gofundme. This is the link my comment references. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/rebeccadowns/2022/02/05/go-fund-me-taking-money-away-from-canadian-truckers-to-be-redistributed-n2602866?utm_source=thdailypm&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=nl&bcid=4ef433c73392233dcf49d0b338839fe134c5eb4f74b71f3385cfd4414c41f3ad&recip=26299895

Well, I’ll vote you up. There is a word for taking money donated to a cause or organization and diverting it to other causes. It’s called theft.

Bill, good buddy, what’s your 20?
I do remember the Convoy song, as I do recall waiting for an “odd” or “even” day which matched the last digit on my license plate, so I could get in line (long) to get gasoline for my 83 hp Triumph Spitfire.
Convoy in 75, but the song that really got tome was in 1984.
Love him, hate him, but the Red Rocker – Sammy Hagar – put out the best answer to the 55mph speed limit with his classic “I can’t drive…55!”
Bill can understand this lyric: “what used to take 2 hours, now takes all day, hell, it took me 16 hours to get to L.A.”

Bill, I hope you are right about the change in the air – slowly the sleeping giant awakens, mad at the incessant buzzing of media lies, poking and prodding of government mandates, pinned by the inanities of so-called experts, when all it wants to do is live peacefully, productively, independently and enjoy a refreshing nap. Beware, nasty pests, when the Giant awakens.

Bill, you’ve totally forgotten to mention the part the CB (Citizens Band) radio played in the song Convoy and the very act of being in a convoy; it gave us communication just like the handheld computer we affectionately call a smartphone does today. I was born in 1953 and drove trucks, mainly in the oilfields, from 1972 to 1976. I still have my favorite 23 channel Cobra 29, tweaked, with its 100-watt linear amplifier. We called that a “big radio” with a voice actuated mike. When you broke into a conversation, everybody for 50 miles heard you, but you got in over the civilian clutter. I was driving for a living and needed a smoky report so I could put my foot to the metal. It was that radio that allowed truckers to safely exceed the 55 mph speed limit, not a radar detector that would get you a ticket in some states.

The “Fascistic Socialists”/AMERICAN MARXISM and their GAGGLE/Party of INSANITY. ANTI-AMERICANISM, FRAUD & TOTALITARIANISM JUMPED THE SHARK AND HAVE NEVER LOOKED BACK IN THEIR I(NTENT and Purpose when they STUDIEDLY went after Parents children.(Public Indoctrination in BIG government run schools) NOW average Joe & Mary had the cause (it effected and affected them directly.
The Canadian Convoy was another example that the average citizen can and do9es have tremendous impact on the {“Stupid is STUPID” Politician. I agree thaT AMERICAN TRUCKERS UNDERSTAND the raw power they haven and will use their numbers in a March (TRUCKS) on Washington DC..

Interview this morning between Dr. Jordan Peterson and a former Premier of Newfoundland, Brian Peckford, was very insightful. Peckford is filing a lawsuit in Canada directed towards the travel ban by the govt. He states the right to travel across the large land mass of Canada is one of the citizens’ Charter Rights’ made into law in the 1980’s as a compact added to their Canadian Constitution.
Peckford is the last living person who worked on composing the Charter Rights (similar to but not exactly like our US Bill of Rights) to be added to the Canadian Constitution. All provinces except Quebec approved it.
Justin Trudeau’s father, Pierre Trudeau, left the committee and tried to form his own bill of rights but was squashed by the Canadian Supreme Court. Pierre Trudeau had to return to the original committee that was working on the Charter. His tyranny was foiled! Justin T. is a chip off the old block!
I highly recommend the discussion between Peterson and Peckford. It says much for us to reflect on about our own problems with the malfeasance of the US federal government here.
Thanks ,Bill, for this episode!

I also highly recommend the book by Canadian Conservative theorist, Dr. George P. Grant —Lament For A Nation.

Chevy Vega. I owned one for the total amount of time it took me to clean it, service the engine and sell it for profit to someone desparate for future pain. It had a cast iron sleeved aluminum block that was prone to failure, and it was tiny. Nothing like the 1975 Buick Century stationwagon land yacht that I drove from 1986 to 1994. It was not nearly as attractive as Bill’s favored road beast, but I can confirm the 7-11 mpg that I got from that Buick 350 V-8.
Prone to rust? HAH! I lived in British Columbia at the time, and winter driving consisted of plowing through the piles of road salt, which was place on the the asphalt in order to melt the ice. Everything, and some meatbags, was prone to rust. The Vega did not stand a chance. Good riddance.

Government regulation makes criminals out of citizens and then makes money off of it. Government reduces the speed limit and then collects fines for exceeding it. Government mandates paper bags and then collects 8 cents per bag charge. Government demands clock hours of used car dealers (I’m in WA) and then collects $ from used car dealers paying for those clock hours ( they have to leave the computer on until the ‘hours’ are up, then click ‘Submit’). Government demands updated building codes and then collects money for building plan review, and also demands the entire building be brought up to new code for an application to replace window glass. No wonder people are squatting everywhere. Being on drugs and getting benefits for that is cheaper than paying the fee to abide by the law.

Looking at it from that POV makes me feel stupid for not being a “homeless” drug addict.

I haven’t read the books, but a similar sentiment was quoted in the first of the Jack Reacher movies (and I would expect that it came from the book)

My family had to go from Canada to Florida in the summer of 1975, family emergency, and we had two vehicles both with CB radios so we could keep in touch. We had a relatively good journey, at least thru the daylight hours. When it went dark, my sisters and I tended to go a bit faster than the double nickel. I remember letting other drivers know that there was a “smokie” in the grass between the north and south tracks. He actually came on the CB and said (para) “Lady, that is just mean”. The State Troopers did help my Dad keep us close enough for the CB to reach. As they came on air and told us ladies in the red Mercury to slow down a bit and let their father catch up. Good thing it was night. We all had very red faces. I was really happy when we could start going a “bit” faster on the interstates.

We did have some interesting times on that trip didn’t we. I found out in Chicago that the front of that old Merc could actually just clear the back underside of a flat deck as I crossed 3 lanes to make our turn. I got swore at alot. We were a lot younger back then.

Deja Vu all over again. Yep! I have been telling those folks within my sphere of influence that we have seen this all before. Both the problem and the solution. The early seventies were not only marked by the “Arab Oil Embargo” but lets not forgot the Anti-Vietnam War protests, Kent State in 1970 and those ever happy Obama influencers, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, “I don’t know honey, I am bored today, let’s go blow up the Pentagon”. Go read “Days of Rage” by Bryan Burrough if you need a refresher. We had it all, rocketing crime rate, rampant inflation, Government corruption, racial unrest.. SOOO…. if that is indicative of our current situation, is it because the solutions we applied back then didn’t work or because someone really, really likes, chaos, death and destruction?? We know how this works, we just need the will to supply the solution. Thanks Bill!!

And don’t ever forget that traitor Jane Fonda. That picture of her on the NVA gun still haunts me.

Bill, I thought of C.W. McCall’s song “Convoy” when I first heard of this amazing Canadian trucker’s protest. We are essentially the same age, so I remember the phenomenon of this song’s popularity. After watching your CBTA episode, I went to YouTube and watched/listened to this song, which someone put to footage of the Canadian Freedom Ride. What a perfect marriage of image and song, and I got an extra chill when near the end of the song he says, “so we crashed the gate doing 98, I said ‘let them truckers roll, 10-4′”
God bless all these truckers.
Incidentally, I’m most likely not the first to point this out, but I have always wondered if McCall was being deliberate with the beginning lyrics of this song, where he says:
“It was the dark of the moon on the 6th of June….”
June 6th. of course, being the anniversary of D-Day, when the greatest armada – or “convoy”, if you will – of ships and men stormed the beaches of Normandy. I like to think McCall those this date on purpose.

I only hope Bill is right. A large convey from one side of the nation to the other is just about the only thing I can think of that might break the media censorship enough to show the lemmings that their authoritarianistic methods are not supported by the ‘normal people’.
I truly fear however that the younger crowd has been too brainwashed by the left-wing religion to even see straight enough.

That’s my hope though I do not think it will come to violence. I think the powers that are believe they have enough control over the image that by the time all of the truth is out they will have lost and then think they can play the long game. It will be a long time till November, and as panicky as they are now, they probably also think they can fix everything through time erasing people’s memories, the chance at a summer false flag or faux-grass uprising, or some usual October surprise.

The governments of two Canadian provinces (Alberta and Saskatchewan) have announced that they are lifting all mandates by the end of this month.
What’s that sound off in the distance?…..BANJOS
