Expelled San Francisco school board president blames “white supremacy” (presumably among Democrat voters) for the recall election that tossed her out of office, along with two fellow ‘woke’ Progressives. Has the Left had enough of the virtue signaling of the far Left?

I think all public schools should be named after their location – then nobody would have anything to complain about over the name: Riverside Ave High School, Hendricks Rd Middle School, Sugar Maple St Elementary – see how simple that is?
…unless the school is on Washington Street, Jefferson Avenue, Lincoln Boulevard, or some such reprehensible location.
I’m afraid it’s time to abandon the government schools altogether. Clamoring to get elected to captain the Titanic after it’s hit the iceberg is futile. We conservatives must make government schools obsolete. Run for your local State House district and submit a bill for School Choice. Free us all, don’t accept the premise that we can fix the sinking ship.
Recalling the far-far left school board members to replace them with far left is a start. It is SF after all.
But in a world where even Tulsi Gabbard can speak at CPAC and be center-left, and even center-right on some topics leads me back to a 6 part conversation that Bill had with Dave Rubin several years back. This was before Dave left the left. The two of them concluded they could come up with a platform about which 80-85% of the electorate could support.
That is still true and shouldn’t be a hard sell, but the GOPe politicians never want to upset the applecart.
For new(er) members, the video to which I am referring are under Shows>WaybackShows>AfterHours in the drop down for Shows at the top of the page.
They are at the bottom of the first page scroll from July 2017.
Scott- can some of the older items be put out to the great unwashed now?
Still some good stuff in those discussions and Dave has a following that might be a boost here.

The problem is that the GOPe are Democrats. I read a disturbing observation at Ace of Spades not too long ago that with 3 or 4 exceptions, every member of the Bush Administration has gone on to become a Democrat. We Normals have been having serious buyers’ remorse for supporting Bush, McCain & Romney
Scott’s comments at the end reminded me of the quote by Konstantin Stanislovki, “there are no small parts, only small actors.”
Media has people so focused on “national” politics that way too many fail to realize they can make the most significant impact on things that directly affect their families by working on local issues at the local level.
Small point: Trotsky’s actual quote was “trash heap” 🙂
“How I’m going to beat out all of those other talking heads for a gig on MSNBC” – I’ve been saying the same about every “flag burner” athelete who is using their 15 minutes of fame to audition for a show on ESPN
I hope you are right Bill. I always get nervous regarding “Get Woke Go Broke” since the left seems to be playing the long game regarding a lot of this by getting ahold of our kids, thus making future woke consumers regardless of what we do now. They are willing to loose unfathomable amounts of money if it means they gain control of the future. Scott is right that we need parents to run for school board and get this garbage out of the schools. I would rather people homeschool but that isn’t always possible so might as well work on the next best thing.
