As non-stop news coverage shows President Volodymyr Zelensky and his countrymen rally to defend themselves from a massive mechanized Russian invasion, it’s natural to ask: “Would we have such courage?” Will this historical hinge-point, lift us above our trivial daily concerns, and provide a moment of clarity about what’s really important?

Can we try a thought experiment?
Let’s say an alien fleet like in ID4 (without the open port for W95 laptops) arrive and put USA under attack.
Saying “we have nothing against the population, just hate your leader Joe Biden. Serve up his ass on a platter and we’re gone for good. Else, we’ll have to start to occupy your land and eventually pry him off your dead fingers. Your choice.”
What do you think American patriot should do? Grab the arms to protect the land from the alien invasion? On the principle that no one tells us what to do? Or rather take the offer and save the country from 2 menaces in one go?
Then, all the other countries weigh in with all their opinions, which patriot strategy should they praise in the safety of being out of range while enjoying the fine circus?
We know nothing about what is happening in Ukraine but what is fed us. I am dismayed that we seem to have learned nothing from the past two years. When the government, major news platforms, and internet outlets speak with one voice on what is true, I am inclined to disbelieve it, and you should too. We are being played, again.
Zelensky’s acting skills are really paying off now.
His legacy:
US/EU puppet.
Shut down political opposition media.
Jailed the leaders of the political opposition.
Continued 8 years of terrorizing the Donbass region. This included cutoff from resources (electricity, etc.) Daily shelling of the region including schools and hospitals.
You guys admire this? You are not the people I thought you were.
I feel sorry for the Ukrainian people who are paying the price for this.
That’s what we call democracy. An oligarch finds an actor to run. Finds a good foundation with ample popular support. In the present case restoring good relations with Russia and sort out the was regions. Get the win from people beleveing you’ll do that unlike the Soros-puppets previously at the helm. Once won, scrap all the plans and do whatever you feel like instead.
As a bonus, ruin your country completely when you see you have no chance on upcoming next election and bask in money and glory of other countries while your people die.
I worked with a Ukranian. Big bear of a man. Beard. Deep voice. Had that kind of dark sense of humor (he’s my age – he grew up in the USSR).
Had a kind of down-to-earth sensibility about him. Haven’t seen him in years. Went to a party at their house once … with a lot of their Ukranian immigrant friends. Great party. Great people.
I still hear his low, gruff voice, whenever I disapprove of a course of action I or others are considering doing something inadvisable and I catch myself or want to warn them …. and I see him slowly shaking his head….
“Eeez noult a gould idea.”
If only he’d been one of Putin’s advisors …
Who am I kidding, I don’t think Putin is listening to his own advisors. I think he’s gone Stalin/Hitler on us. He’s his own God now. Usually that means failure, but man they leave a lot of death and destruction in their wake.
By the way, for people who have an attention span longer than a social media post – this was a deeply interesting interview with an expert on Russia. He provides a lot of context here.
And for the people who say “a pox on both their houses” … well that’s exactly what Putin wants you to believe.

I am so glad to see many of the comments on here that realize that Bill, Scott and Steve were way off on this. When I watched this, I couldn’t believe it. After 2 years of being lied to by the media about hospitals that had people dying in the hallways and freezer trucks outside for the dead, the efficacy of wearing a diaper on our faces, the threat that covid actually posed, and the vaccine hoax – you’re going to actually believe what they are showing you about Ukraine? I’m not sure what has happened to you, Bill Whittle, you used to be spot on in seeing the false narrative and crap out there. I love the Apollo series, and the Cold War series, and Firewall, but these softball shows to bring out the ’emotions’ – the very thing the left thrives on, just leaves me feeling sick to my stomach. Don’t go back to sleep!
Yeah, I’m happy this is a community where we can disagree with not only each other, but also with the hosts.
Ukraine is cringe. Get on the winning team Vlad the Chad.
What I would like from Whittle to make up for this gaffe is to compare what is happening in Ukraine to what happened with Cuba. There are a lot of similarities.
Absolutely every big story of “heroism” out has been false. I hope Bill and crew will be a little more cautious going forward. I could see it if this were knee jerk done days ago, but this talk is late to the party. These things have all been debunked. Yes I heard the message and it’s a good one but I rely on Bill and team for accuracy in a world full of lies.
I guess I don’t understand some of the comments. You may not like the “propaganda” stories and believe both governments to be bad actors. Fine. But the regular citizens who are fighting back against an army rolling in are still defending their country and their families.
Those people have done nothing wrong and deserve at least our praise for fighting back.
Great close Scott!
It’s been surprising to see the level of animosity toward Ukraine and anyone who is saying anything positive about them. Has Politics poisoned everything, even the way we view tragedy and human suffering? I hope not. Compassion for suffering and anger at aggression seem like reasonable reactions to what is happening. I worry that we dole out compassion based on whether we think people are deserving or not. What happens when we are put under the same scrutiny?
I just have a hard time believing the rhetoric of the same people who have wanted me unemployable and homeless for not wearing a mask, when they all in lock-step have their undying support for the propaganda coming out of this conflict. Call me jaded, but it seems like two sets of corrupt politicians oppressing civilians for their own means.
Eh guys, you continue to disappoint. Bigtime. I could probably just go watch CNN directly or read Twitter. At least that is the primary BS, why resort to its mindless spreading elsewhere?
Most of the stories are so obviously fake, you don’t even need to wait the day till they are debunked and replaced with a new fake story.
And you are running with the beauty queen and the rifle. Yey. :-((((

As of the brave guys lobbing molotov — I wonder what would be your presentation if right after the convoy would have shot them dead by massive fire? Or just do the militarily reasonable thing: preemptively shoot every vehicle on the road?
Would then it be “evil invaders killing innocent civilians without any reason”?
It’s so very nice of you sending idiots to kill or die or both and praising them for X-ing off, the less enemies to count an ocean away. All from the safety of armchair. As the usual warmongers also happy to send over arms and bullets. And signaling all the virtues.
“old timer, who you gonna kill next?”

I’m lazy to look up the MB2A episodes, so at risk of misstating. I recall talking about battle tactics when pretending injured or children blew up groups of american soldiers. And IIRC those were somehow NOT marked good patriots fighting against the invaders in [long list of USA invasions from last few decades]. And what was toe opinion on the people who were sending them there?
The picture on the left is LITERALLY from Instagram.
@Michael Burke: Yes, I read elsewhere that the rifle was an Airsoft gun. (The SBR look was a puzzler for me when I saw it.)
That being said, real people are getting real AK assault rifles from the state to defend their country.
It doesn’t bother me that Ukraine is using propaganda. It also seems beside the point that there is corruption in their system. Seeing Russian military forces roll into their country, totally unprovoked, is the issue. They’re fighting for their existence. Propaganda is the least they can do. My personal opinion is that propaganda is a tool that is used universally when any group is pitted against another group. You always want to present your side in the best light and the other side in the worst. We all hope our side only uses truth to get its message across, but it’s difficult to not shade it in a favorable direction. We can debate sometime down the road the evils of Ukrainian corruption and use of misleading images (which, by the way, trolls on the internet can make anything look like propaganda, so I always take the accusation with a grain of salt). But they are fighting for their lives against a murderous tyrant who has no regard for women, children, the aged, or common decency. Miss Ukraine using props to inspire people to stand and fight doesn’t seem like such a bad thing in that light.
Both sides can be bad, we don’t need to
Virtue Signalor take a side. Both sides are corrupt and the innocent civilians and those conscripted to fight here are the real victims here.Totally unprovoked? If you know about as much as the marvelous VP, maybe learn before coming out with statements. Guess 8 years of continous shooting, with dead people every single day does not meet your threshold, and it was just one issue in the bin.
The government of Ukraine cut Donbass off from resources (electricity, etc.) and the military has shelled Donbass on a daily basis for 7 years. The buildings taken out include schools and hospitals. So to call it “shooting” makes it sound like Chicago. The American people need to know this. Sadly, now the people of Ukraine are paying the price for the not-so-innocent government.
Putin didn’t learn from Afghanistan. The pallets of cash to Ashraf worked for Biden.
I have to agree with a few others, below. We ALL know better than to believe a single word or image about ANYTHING domestic, from the global and globalist media. Why would we believe anything about international events? Dan Bongino has multiple inside sources to rely on and he is having a hard time separating truth from propaganda – from BOTH sides.
I have long been reading of the ties between Ukraine and the ultra-corrupt global cabal, as well as the traitorous monsters from our government. Is Putin the monster he is presented to be, by the same people telling us Trump is a monster and “in Putin’s pocket?” We all know those are distinct lies. Is Putin defending Russia from the same globalists we are trying to defend America from?
At this point, I don’t think any of us know.
I am awe inspired by the citizen patriots taking up arms to defend their country, at any cost, as a high percentage of us would, but I’m not sure which government, if either, I take sides with.
I would love to have listened in to the negotiations between Biden and the Ukrainians about re-hiring Hunter. “If you don’t, I’ll let Vlad invade you.” (And, NO, this isn’t snark. He IS that much of a cravenly criminal traitor… DUH,) GOD BLESS AND PROTECT THE UKRAINIAN FFREEDOM FIGHTERS!!
You miss the point if you don’t see that patriotism and love of country are virtuous, and that there are things that are more important than yourself–things worth fighting and dying for. Can you imagine Biden or any of his ilk saying, “I don’t need a ride, I need ammunition.?”
IDK. This feels like a propaganda campaign to me. Ms. Ukrainian was clearly holding an air soft gun. And the few pictures of El Presidente are reportedly from 2016. I think both side are corrupt and I am more concerned with the civilians. Also the same statists who wanted every unjabbed person to lose their job are suddenly pro Ua on everything and that just doesn’t seem right to me.
I love you Bill, I have to say though that this episode was very cringe. The heroic stories mentioned (like Miss Ukraine) are false. It’s just propaganda. Why are we taking sides in this fight anyway? Ukraine is the country that helped Hillary with the fake Trump/Russia collusion story, right? Isn’t Ukraine the same country that took a $1B bribe from Biden to cover up Hunter’s corruption? Why would any conservative support that country? You don’t have to support Russia, but when the people who have lied to us for years about COVID, Trump/Russia, etc. are all now in unison telling us stories that you’d see in movies, shouldn’t we be a bit critical?
EDIT: Here’s a funny video from Salty Cracker about the propaganda. There is some language, so trigger warning. https://odysee.com/@SaltyCracker:a/surprise-miss-ukraine-picking-up-ak-47:7
I love Salty Cracker. Somebody described him as the Rush Limbaugh for the Rick and Morty generation. He’s crude but sadly, more factual that Whittle’s team was on this one… and he brought receipts.
Yeah, Salty was on top of stuff from the start and still is there, unlike so many others.
Just yesterday I was to write that the overlords seem to came out in the open and the world is now pretty simple to evaluate: just look at what is coming from the media and the exact opposite is the truth. No more need to sort. Guess over time the algo will adjust back if too many people figure this strategy out.
One of the not yet debuked but ofter repeated statements is that Z is in Kiev. I had my doubts earlier but becoming quite certain he surely isn’t. For days. Maybe just somewhere else in Ukraine, would not be much surprised if just took the first offer to jump ship. After all you can zoom call from anywhere. Brandon is using a WH replica from fist days, isn’t it a brilliant idea?
And everything else aside — when the capital is about to fall and is under heavy fore isn’t it the most natural to have the leaders elsewhere? If DC was under siege isn’t POTUS place on AF1 or a remote location somewhere in the Rockies? At least before the top was replaced with diversity hires I’m sure that was the protocol.
Oh yeah, If I could thumbs up you twice I would. Extra points for linking Odysee!
Very powerful! I’m 87 and remember WW2 very well. America has been so favored to not have had to face these kind of things. Although we stood with those who brought Hitler down it was not on our land. This program shows that it could come to America. There are wicked and insane people in powerful positions who have no regard for the lives of others. This clearly shows us that we need to stand strong against those who would take our guns.
I think your video links are messed up. This is bringing up the School Board video.
Thank you. I accidentally uploaded last week’s video. Fixed it, thanks to you, Phil.
The audio link works.
