These people are idiots. The “indigenous peoples” were not innocent. Many were killing and enslaving children on their own either through live child sacrifice to their gods or conquest of other tribes. It was inconvenient for the conquering tribe to take along pregnant women, smaller children or allow teenagers to live and seek revenge. When engaging in child sacrifice, some believed that the more the children screamed the happier the gods were, so they subjected them to every form of torture including breaking every bone in their body before finally burning them alive. Culture my ass. They would beat their drums to drown out the screams.
As usual, the communist left is telling one side of the story in order to erase our culture and religion. This is nothing more than an excuse to burn churches. Do we even know how the children died? And they were “abused” how? By today’s standards when children pitch a fit if they don’t have an entire gaming setup in their room or aren’t served their favorite food? Give me a break.
