Common Core instituted a high school reading list which had, among other pornographic books, The Bluest Eye. If I remember correctly from the meeting I attended, in that story a pedophile feeds an ice cream cone to the little girl while he molests her. One 10th grade student boy was told by his teacher to read an anal sex act out loud in his classroom. He went home told his mom and the school board had a public meeting. It came out that the school board was ignorant and assumed the Common Core list was acceptable. They apparently had never checked out the list. This list contained other pornographic books that teachers could use in their teaching and in their recommended reading lists!! WTH!!!
This has been going on for some time. That meeting was over 6 years ago.
This is so outrageous! There must be a mass exodus from the public schools. Parents have to begin suing these perverts for contributing to the corruption of their children.

Jesus dealt gently with slime balls who KNEW they were slime balls (because they lived in a culture that told them they were slime balls every day). He dealt harshly with slime balls who had NO IDEA that they were slime balls (because THEY controlled the culture). The left loves protests. I wonder what the result would be is right thinking (and by that I mean correct thinking, not political spectrum direction) parents at that school district all pulled their kids out,
Schools get funding based upon number of students. If suddenly there were 25% less students, would that have an impact?
Get a bunch of the kids to just protest this instead of “the latest thing” and I’m sure they’ll go for it. Parental approved hooky day? Sure, sign men up.
As a side effect, so many of these parents are the same ones who help organize the carnivals, magazine/candy/raffle ticket sales, volunteer as field trip chaperones, room mothers for parties, show up for Parent-Teacher Conferences, give of their time to come in and listen to children read or help with art projects or work with flash cards with a small group, come and “teach” a class for a morning sharing about a skill they have or a trip they took, etc.

The goal is not only to create the environment that makes these cretins feel comfortable and “normal”, it’s also to separate the children from their parents.
And Bill is right, children are not fully developed and able to dismiss or embrace different ideas, they believe what is told to them. That’s why these evil beings try to indoctrinate them at younger and younger ages. The pandemic woke up a lot of parents, and I’m glad and hopeful for the future.
The leftist Democratic Party continues to promote these strikingly wrong-headed policies, maybe thinking that no one can “see them under the cushions”, but still manage to get over 50% of America to register as Democrat. The Mainstream Media and Big Business continue to fall in line, brainwashing us that there is “nothing to see here, move along”. We all are so self-assured that there is going to be a reckoning in November, but there is a real possibility that there will not. In my state of Georgia, Stacy Abrams can run ads stating that she saved us from losing our film industry while, in all honesty, she is the one primarily responsible for Atlanta losing the All-Star Game in MLB and caused the threat in the first place. She can say that we have the “worst State in the Union” and still post high projected vote totals. She can be for late term abortions, critical race theory, defunding the police, and ramping up state taxes and still potentially win.
I’m befuddled and discouraged.
There was a reckoning, in 2020, when Donald Trump won a second term in a historical landslide so large it broke the political machine that usually quashes elections. Every month that goes by, I get more convinced that Biden didn’t actually win a single state; and more than that — it uncovered a huge, interconnected system of systematic cheating that has swung hundreds, thousands, of elections over the span of decades, probably going back to immediately after RWR’s second election.
Come on, do you really think the Pelosisaurus has been elected every two years since 1987 in fair elections?
Do you think the Old Grey Mitch has honestly been voted the best person in all of Kentucky to represent them for 37 years?
You are right that that media is trying to brainwash and gaslight the population, but the curtain’s been drawn back on the corruption like never before. There may be a reckoning, but I predict it won’t be through elections. It might be through boiling tar and plucking feathers and dragging octogenarians through the streets of DC. Or it may be to bide our time and wait ’til the hoary old crones all wither away and die off, and then the GenXers will finally take the place in office they’ve so long been denied.

If I were a parent there, I would say (if allowed) : “Let me see if I understand this. We can’t say certain words in public with only adults in attendance, but we can force 15 years olds to say them in public? Does anyone besides me here see the insanity in this? Not too mention perversion? Oh, you are offended by my words? They are not pornographic. I see. Pornographic language is ok when forced on minors, but it is wrong to say it to adults. Non pornographic language you don’t like is abhorrent. Got it.”

Why aren’t the parents in these situations not immediately asking which specific employees authorized distributing harmful material to minors and seeking criminal prosecution?
Good point and question. Answer is probably one or more of the people up on the dais. How many policemen were in attendance at these meetings? Why didn’t they cart someone off? Besides potentially the parent.
And how many of our school superintendents and on down have children of their own, and would object to this exposure for their kids?
