Republican Message: To Win Elections the GOP and Candidates Must Do One Thing!

In the wake of 2022 midterm elections, it’s clear that the Republican message is “We’re not Democrats.” To actually win elections, the Republican Party and its candidates must do one this one thing. NOTE: Scott Ott’s camera failed during this week’s Right Angle shoot, so he appears by audio only.

Bill Whittle, Stephen Green, Scott Ott have co-hosted a news commentary show since 2009 thanks to our Members. To join the producers, tap the big green button above. To make a donation, without joining, tap the big blue button above.

In listing braindead Demonrats, don’t forget Hank Johnson, who thinks Guam could capsize if the Navy puts too many assets on the Island.
“What we should do” isn’t as helpful as “HOW we should do what we should do.” The Leftist sewer rats hold a near monopoly in academia, and the media. Saying that DECENT people need to start going into these fields is like the mouse who comes up with the idea of putting the bell around the cat’s neck. Even for people who do this, they’ll be cloistered in the conservative ghetto we’ve got now. America doesn’t have enough to for this to take effect before we are completely finished off

A) I appreciate the new natural flow format. I am a big fan of natural conversations and long-form youtube videos.
RE: Obama rode off into the sunset: This is ridiculously false. He’s behind the scenes of media now, not in the spotlight, but he is certainly still involved and having meetings with political operatives constantly. Ron Klain is the intermediary here. One could probably make an argument that he is effectively the president.
RE: Trump needs to go: I have seen plenty of this argument, and Trump’s personality is definitely leaving much to be desired. His leadership is not to my taste – he’s not a military leader, nor a good leader in general in my opinion. However, laying these elections at his feet (most of which are post-COVID) is not entirely fair. What we DO know is that, corruption aside, the 2020 GA Senate was won by the false claim that Biden with a Dem senator would provide an additional stimulus check which didn’t occur. The amount promised for 2022 was even more ridiculous: student loan forgiveness, marijuana charge forgiveness, more stimulus payments, draining the SPR, and the list goes on. How do you fight it when the government is selling people back their money for votes?
RE: Tearing the republican party apart: GOOD. The Tea Party movement won 2010. The libertarian party has been crushed by rolling in some liberty-minded republicans into the GOP. However, the old guard is still there and in charge. McCarthy has got to go. McConnell has got to go. We don’t need any more Boehners or Ryans or McCains or Cheneys or Grahams. We need DeSantises and Pauls and Trumps. And the GOP holding back the purse strings is likely the largest non-corruption cause you can look at for why Lake (potentially) lost in Arizona.
We should be focusing on similarly breaking the democrat party by waking up the real people who are disaffected by the DNC: Middle-class union blue-collar workers, and lower-income working-class people. The DNC claims to support the unions, the lower-income workers, the blacks, and the latinos. However, they only use them for ballot harvesting – the policies of the DNC are entirely driven by coastal elites. This needs to be blasted out of every possible media orifice until the message takes hold.
If you’re looking for the ‘message’. It’s that Trump et al is NOT the GOP which took us to Iraq and Afghanistan. The nu-age GOP is one of workers – of middle class salt-of-the-earth Americans. The representatives of the people who bust their ass in real life every day to work hard and make their life and family and community better – not the ones who think that 22 dollar Avocado Toast is the pinnacle of breakfast. You might stir up some things, but if the Democrat party consists of upper-middle-class suburbanites and coastal elites and the Republican party consists of people who work physically for a paycheck and the entire middle class, that’s unbeatable.

Life, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness for ourselves and our progeny is what this nation is established for. Life means safety for all to live out their lives unthreatened. Liberty means freedom for all to do what they wish to do that does not interfere with others freedoms. Happiness comes from honoring and respecting all others who abide by life and liberty concepts and endevoring to provide Happiness to the next generation by educating those concepts continuously to all. Republicians must represent those values, of which this nation was formed.

I thought at first when you said “And we’re just the guys to do it” I thought you meant YOU three.

When I figured out that’s NOT what you meant, I thought “well why NOT?”

Bang it out on the typewriter and sell it to them.

Please go back to the old Right Angle format. Half hour segments are too long and the jumping back and forth to the large screen of whoever is speaking is very distracting.

As the guys, and many here, know, Madison worked for creating many counteracting factions, spread across a large geographic area, so that factionalism did not coalesce into just two groups banging away at each other, with the excess zealotry and “religiosity” that goes with pushing your ideology vs. their ideology. And of course factions led to parties with the Federalists vs. Antifederalists, then Democrats vs. Whigs/Republicans.

Our party positions may include responsible budgeting, pro-life, 2nd amendment, border security, etc., but the messaging has to be more primal than that, such as rule of law required for civil order, republic over democracy based on historical precedent, constitutionalism as foundational law, necessity of citizen virtue for consensual government, checks and balances coupled to federalism and enumerated powers to limit government as a fearful servant, etc.

I liked Scott’s ending comments about liberty, loving women and children, etc. I also agree with the ending comments that McCarthy and McConnell are not the guys to push this message. Rick Scott wants to be that guy, but not sure even he has the veritas and charisma to pull it off. Mike Lee, Jim Jordan, Tom Cotton, even Rubio and Cruz should be able to step up. It may not be about the person, per se, but a person(s) is needed to deliver the message, again and again and again and …

I find such repetition hard to provide or to listen to, because I feel that I am insulting people’s intelligence with repetition of the same brand message, but some don’t listen, some don’t hear it the first to thirty-first time, and some need actual counter-indoctrination.

THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE DIRTY DEMS ARE FOCUSED ON COLLECTING ABSENTEE AND MAIL-IN BALLOTS BY HOOK AND BY CROOK.
WE NEED TO START FOCUSING ON COLLECTING BALLOTS INSTEAD OF SHOWING UP AT THE POLLS WHERE OUR VOTES ARE REASSIGNED TO THE DEMS. iT’S ABOUT BALLOTS, NOT VOTES.

Thanks to Sundance on the Conservative Tree House for clearing that up. There are 2 different election processes at play here. Katie Hobbs OF AZ was busy having her minions collect ballots–real or fake. Kari Lake worked her buns off MEETING AND GREETING and putting herself out there for VOTES. It still remains to be seen if she will win. Open your eyes. Start thinking about how we can HONESTLY collect our ballots. There’s no time to waste. The same DISGUSTING TREASONOUS fraud is already set for 2024.

It is good to recognize this votes vs. ballots issue as an important tactical component that should be pursued, or countered, but the strategic issue is still the brand message the guys are discussing. Half the country is indoctrinated into an alternative ideology than constitutional liberty and real equality of opportunity for all, including equality of legal protections and due process.

But if blue state citizens are not incensed about rumors or credible charges of election irregularities in their state, they will not be demanding their legislatures provide corrective and protective legal mechanisms.

I was really disappointed to learn the SCOTUS rejected the suit by the 10(?) Red state AG’s concerning election irregularities in other states. The rejection was based on the denial of “standing”, but if one state’s improper actions impact another state’s election validity across a national contest, then the only place to address that is in federal court, presumably at the level of SCOTUS when a quick turn around decision is required.

Yes, as others have said below. All you have to do is look at so many of the Dem candidates who campaigned in their basements and/or refused to debate and/or are clumsy people to begin with who no one would like. But it doesn’t matter when the opposition simply creates, steals, or obtains ballots via a registration process that is so simple to corrupt it is an invitation to cheat. We don’t have a virtuous population anymore and therefore we absolutely must clean up and make the registration/vote process bullet proof from corruption.

Maga knows it’s brand. Make America great again. Its not free trade if its a dictatorship. Nation to nation trade negotiation not UN trade bureaucracy. Make (insert nation here) great again but not at the expense of another nations. Regenerate industry by curbing union demands, government red and green tape. Covid cures, Hydroxychloroquine & Ivermectin, not just the vaccine and lock downs, etc. The electoral system is corrupted and needs major change. Replace the leftist media and social media with new competition. Q was right but a little tricky.

The election process has been overtaken and changed completely by early voting ballots, fake ballots, ballots from dead people and other devious methods to collect ballots. Right before our eyes. It seems that those ballots are tallied first. The officials who count those ballots know how many they may need to overcome the opposing party’s in person votes. Isn’t this what we saw with the election graphs showing “drop and roll” vertical shifts so the Dem loser suddenly pulls ahead?

In 2020, Biden knew he didn’t have to campaign because he came out and said ” we (his party) have the most comprehensive election fraud organization in American history.”

Yes and Trump has now won the argument with everyone except Steven Green. Everyone else at PJmedia has caught on that the Red wave was real. There are hundreds of thousands of uncounted Republican ballots in 8 states.

You can’t win elections where cheating dominates. You must still run and fight but your running to document the fraud. That’s why Trump backed Oz. To prove to the sceptics once and for all that Pennsylvania does not have free and far elections. You are also training people to be poll watchers, polling staff not just campaign staff. You will have a House majority and a Senate majority next month but the left is delaying the announcement and confusing the issue to demoralize Republicans and trigger in fighting. With you guys its worked.

The Red Wave turned into just a ripple, and while each of you three definitely are hitting key nails squarely on their heads, the double standards of justice/injustice, the unchecked yet fully documented corruption/fraud deciding our elections, and the Deep State/MSM/Big Tech transcendence/control are the issues that are most concerning to the majority of the conservative voters, and sadly the gleeful joy of the liberals. How are you proposing to defeat those headwinds on a national level?

Oh Yeah ….. and one other thing I should mention. Though I have never really like Trump himself, but as with you guys, I have very much liked his policies and direction. But given the above concerns of the average conservative voter, who else can you name that is taking on those very issues, head-on, and at the same time energizing even a fraction of the base at anywhere near the levels we are currently seeing. Sadly however, it is only about 1/3rd of that potential base that is being so engaged, while another 1/3rd is being actively turned-off and away by the very “toxicity” that you fellows are talking about.

Just as a one-off example, can you even imagine what we would be seeing, and would have seen so long ago, if the “Laptop from Hell” belonged to Donald Trump Jr. instead of Hunter Biden???

Just sayin’ is all!?!?

While I like the new camera arrangement you’re doing, I definitely don’t like that you’re not using the cool, “distinct”, thumbnails for each video. It makes it harder for me to know if I watched it already or not.

Bill Whittle. You already banged away on your ‘typewriter’ many years ago to come up with,
The Plan .
Do you remember it Bill?
It was the pitch video you made just before you released the
We The People V 2.0
videos of Money, Socialism, Capitalism, Corporations and Government.
For newish members, these are a must watch. For you, your friends and your kids. It’s here, on this site, https://billwhittlecom.wpenginepowered.com/category/shows/wtp2/
and it was a collaboration between the citizen producers at Bill Whittle.com (that means us) and TPUSA.
All 5 of those videos are outstanding and in essence, would create the framework in my opinion of the new Republican message.
But, it was in the Pitch Video called “The Plan”, where you verbalized in work and photo, what I thought was the pinnacle moment of all of your videos. You showed an upset, angry protesting man in a photo behind you, and said to the effect ‘If we don’t have a plan to help this man lift himself out of poverty, then all of this is for nothing’. I’m paraphrasing from my memory because that video is simply not available anywhere, but the message was so profound it stuck in my brain since the moment I first heard those words.
If Republicans can’t repeat your 5 year old message, in lockstep and unified, then what the hell is this Republican party all about?
I have to say it. You wrote the message for them 5 years ago. Listening to you talk with Scott and Steve just now, I think that even You forgot that you have done the work for Kevin McCarthy.
My opinion, anyway. FWIW.

I think Trump did more to unify conservatives than anybody in recent decades with the MAGA movement. He is brilliant at messaging and backed up what he said he would do. He created a vision for Americans. He and his admin n worked their tails off for us. He has taken the bullets for us and we need to stand behind him. Desantis wouldn’t have been governor to begin with if Trump didn’t campaign for him. He got him across the finish line Trump is our best hope for draining the swamp. It’s not being publicized all the victories at local level which is critical

It seems that abortion, even actually allowing a viable child to be birthed and allowed to die, is preferred by 60% of the electorate.
The Millennials and Gen Z are voting overwhelmingly for anti-family, low-personal responsibility, immoral-to-Christians measures. They are taking their “college loan forgiveness” dollars and using the money for travel and eating out.
Single women, who also want the ability to abort their child up to the day of birth, are voting for a party that seeks to emasculate and/or feminize men and then are depressed at the men they meet who try to accommodate their wishes. Increasingly alone and depressed, they’ve adopted the Dems as their place of worship, and fight for their Godless ways.
As for “voting for Bobby Kennedy”, that is my take for the preferences of the Jewish Community, the remaining self-immolating Union voters, and older liberals who choose not to look at the actual policies or results of those policies.
