Artists Should be Compensated for Their Art
As of (date to be determined) all art that an artist* wishes to be compensated for must be registered.
All registered art that is sold by other than the artist*, and after the initial sale or gift by the artist*, must pay a percentage of the sale (percentage to be determined) to the artist or the heirs or estate of the artist.
This fee will be applied for every sale after the artist’s* initial sale or gift and any purchaser must agree to the terms of the registration entity regarding any future sale in order to complete the purchase.
Retroactive to any art the artist* wishes to register that is still in the artists* possession and has not yet been sold or gifted even if the art was created before the effective date.
Not applicable to any art that has been sold or gifted by the artist* previous to the effective date unless the owner of such art gives written permission to the artist* to register such art.
