The Left’s response to these mass shootings is always the same. First, try to find a way to portray the killer as a conservative — especially a Trump conservative. If the killer is a left-winger, then find a way to make it the fault of conservatives. Steve shows us that this is exactly what the media is in the process of accomplishing…again.

Probably a repeat, but no matter how exorcized the trans crowd gets about using the preferred pronouns of a mass shooter the correct ones are now was/were. That is the way it should be.

This brings up an interesting conundrum for the trans crowd. She liked to pretend she’s a dude. She’s dead now. Her delusions don’t matter. A corpse can’t be trans. The media is ‘misgendering’ a corpse.
Were guns normalized before? Just ask any Gen-X boy what Megatron transformed into.
I’ve long believed the primary reason for the spread of shootings isn’t naming the shooter (but I do think it contributes), but the “conversation” that follows. We talk about bullying. We talk about gun control. They know their actions can change the world around them – it gives them control and significance. They want US to have to change for THEM… or even just as a result of them.
Kind of reminds you of the definition of domestic terrorism, doesn’t it…

Just one correction to what Steve said about the school being progressive. The school, and the church associated with it are PCA (Presbyterian Church of Americaβlike Coral Ridge Presbyterian, the late DJ Kennedy’s congregation). It is the PCUSA that leans more progressive. The PCA is very conservative.

That’s a good point and an important distinction. Because we want to encourage the good and discourage the bad, it’s not a wise idea to mislabel or accidentally accuse people we want to see more of.
I watched the 2 body cam videos and it got my heart racing.
I have taken a few defensive firearm classes, including space clearing in a team. I thought that those officers did a great job.
Clarification: The Pulse nightclub shooter in Orlando was a Muslim man who went on social media railing against gays.
And yet, several eyewitnesses identified him as having been a frequent patron of the club, who had interactions with other men.
It was speculated that he was conflicted between his sexuality and his ideology, and that conflict drove him to the violent act.
This is what I remember of that tragedy. I am not 100% certain of the facts. Perhaps someone in the forum can verify/contradict?
Simply to believe that you can transition from your birth gender/sex to the opposite gender/sex is seriously delusional, which has long been recognized as a very serious mental health condition that must be monitored closely and treated aggressively! Mainstreaming delusional behavior and expecting no problems is in itself a delusional episode in civilizations collective psyche!
A “gun free zone” AND no armed resource officer…..might as well put a back right on the backs of the students and teachers.

Miserable, broken, brainwashed, hate-filled – this is the left liberal condition. If they ain’t happy no one’s gonna be happy. Somebody’s gonna pay, preferably the happy and the innocent. Anti-humans have been given the green-light by democrats, media, government schools, the medical establishment and conservatives who just want to be left alone.
The reason the media runs with a story ahead of getting the facts is to establish their preferred narrative. They strive to imprint their “version” of events so firmly in the public mind that later, more accurate, information can be dismissed as unimportant or old news. The shooter’s manifesto often totally contradicts the media narrative.
In this case, the media backed themselves into a corner with their confusing web of nonsensical woke rules and lies. Their response, as always, is to double down. Dishonest and shameless, and everyone knows it.
This is one time I disagree with not naming and showing the monster who committed these murders. Normally I agree with not naming for exactly the reasons that Steve said, but this time is different. No Democrats in politics or the media (but I repeat myself) are condemning this evil. Instead they are trying to turn the murderer into the victim and a platform to demand we Normals stop defending themselves. Let her be their mascot; make them wear this. Say her name – Audrey Hale. Let’s make her the face of the Democratic Party’s soulless malevolence
It’s not that there weren’t disturbed people in the 50’s and 60’s … true, and it’s true that it is due to the destruction of the family, which goes back to the “death” of God — but … yep, Bill and Steve got to it – we don’t treat it anymore, we don’t hospitalize it, and we aren’t even allowed to discourage most of it.
I do think it’s weird that They Who Forbid Misgendering are … according to their own rules, misgendering this person … but when you’ve completely lost your mooring to the truth … what do you expect? You don’t know WHAT to expect. And that’s the point.
I was rather confused initially; I couldn’t figure out whether the shooter was a man or a woman, because the woke press wasn’t following their own perverted rules.
Kudos to the police on this one. Good, real men being good, real men.

The media has been saying some really egregious stuff, which I don’t need to restate. It only makes me physically sick and angry.
What is worth focusing on is how the two policemen did the “anti-Uvalde” and charged in and dropped the shooter. Sure, she was one person and a “girl”, but they didn’t know. So glad they were there. (Ooops! Should have finished the video before running my mouth.)
If they make guns “unavailable”, it will result in the same thing that the Prohibition of alcohol did in the roaring 20s. It will massively accelerate violent crime, grow gang membership 10-fold, and normalize lawlessness in those of us who still want to own our guns.
