Well, for those who have been paying attention, Joe Biden’s mental decline was shockingly apparent during the run-up to the 2020 election. Sometime later, those who had not been paying attention came to realize the same thing. This past week, however, his performance had degraded so catastrophically that even those determined NOT to see his incapacity could no longer ignore it. Alzheimers, the sinking of the Titanic and runaway inflation all have one thing in common: they begin slowly at first, then end very quickly, and Joe Biden is sinking fast now.

Um… Warsaw Pact?
What Bill said about India.
I am not anticipating the 73k ballots photocopied in Maricopa county again and mixed in with all the other ballots (ironically 73k more ballots cast than registered voters).
I watched the beginning of Trump’s sit down with Megyn Kelly (it’s an hour so I haven’t gotten to the “controversial” (for conservatives) part.
But he had a great answer when asked about Biden being too old. Paraphrasing, he said it’s not about a number. He knows many people well into their 80s and even 90s who are still sharp and others in their 50s who have lost more than a step. Went down a list of how good he feels, then pointed out that Joe wasn’t that sharp even when he was younger.
It was vintage Trump.
The conservative position on Biden and his aging issues is inexplicable to me. It doesn’t matter how much you point out to the Left the signs and symptoms of Biden’s dementia, to them that’s a feature not a bug.
They don’t care and slapping them in the face with Biden’s two remaining functional brain cells is futile.
They don’t care because they’re getting everything they want under Joe Biden’s administration. That’s what they care about, not if the guy is fit to lead the free world or not. To them it’s a “So what?” thing.
What they don’t care about is economic prosperity, an invented impending global climate catastrophe, fairness for anyone, racial equality, sexual morality and dichotomy, the betterment of mothers because they kill their babies, or any of the other things they say they care about. They already know that the utopia they promise is not achievable by the means they advocate so obviously “utopia” isn’t really the goal. They say they care because saying that is nothing more than a way they have discovered to get power. We can know this for a certainty because their actions do not reflect their words.
Which is working for them just fine.
They want power and having a doddering old mumbling, stumbling, tripping, awkward, inarticulate, manipulable, criminal, demented husk man in the Oval Office that they can control IS THE APEX OF POWER.
We mistakenly think that what we and the bulk of the American People care about is the same thing the Left cares about. That we all want prosperity and security and the Left just has a different viewpoint on how to achieve those things. We think if we can somehow get our points across that will have an impact on these Leftists. We shoot down their positions with logic, facts and sound reasoning and those all bounce off them like a BB gun fired at a battleship.
Then we wonder how the heck we got in this position. We’re here because shooting a BB gun at a battleship is not something likely to be successful.
Conversely, the Left was horrified of Donald Trump because he could not be manipulated into giving them the power that they want so badly. Power they have been whittling off the Republicans for decades. That’s the bottom line and this isn’t something unique to Donald Trump. Anyone who gains political power and says “Hell no we’re not going there” would have the same effect.
It’s not that Trump is something inherently special other than the fact that he was willing to thwart the Left for the good of us all. Anyone else willing to do that would serve as well and without all the baggage Trump hauls around with him everywhere. People mistake this willingness to say “hell no” with being something special about Donald Trump, it’s not. We need the “hell no” more than we need Trump himself.
Because the problem is not that Trump had the election stolen from him, if he was so amazingly unique he wouldn’t have let that happen in the first place. Trump isn’t even a particularly good Conservative, if he applied the same policies he used in office 20 years ago he would have been thought of as a center-left politician. It’s not that he’s a champion for the Conservative philosophy, it’s that he pokes his finger in the eyes of the other side that makes him so popular with some people.
There is only one solution for the political problems we face today. We need to win. We need to deny the Left in its quest for power and take that power for ourselves. If we don’t win, NONE of this makes a bit of difference.
We’re not going to take the best thing that ever happened to the Left away from them by pointing out what a total old fart We’re going to win by making sure everyone else except the Left knows there’s a much better alternative.
Even if that better alternative is Donald John Trump. He’s not the best alternative by a long shot, but right now he’s considerably better than what we have. Because what we have is exactly what the Left wants.
And this is why I want Trump at the debates.
He has to make this case, over and over and over . . .
If he wants to win the election he does. If all he cares about is winning the Primary then what he’s doing will probably accomplish that.
There are an awful lot of Republicans that are going to vote for Trump no matter what, in both primary and general elections.
Those people don’t need to be convinced.
Those people don’t seem to understand that they’re not enough to elect a President either. What seems “obvious” to that kind of person is in fact not at all obvious to the mostly non-political swing voter. It’s the people that need to be convinced that we have to get on our side if we want to win the general election.
This is about winning, not about Donald Trump and his foibles. If we don’t win we can’t do spit about the problems, including election theft, that we’re experiencing.
The Mainstream Media is the primary reason that our low-information voters haven’t woken up enough to make noise. It’s been obvious for 5 years that Biden has dementia. As a physician, I’m shocked he’s upright. His doctors are doing amazing things with his meds, etc. Maybe it’s the cocaine.
Whether or not he actually has dementia, or early onset Alzheimer’s is not the point. We have a President who says things like ‘They won’t let me talk about that’, or ‘I’ll get in trouble if I keep going’, or ‘I can’t go home’. Falls down, shuffles then trips, calls a lid at 11am…. You don’t need to be House to diagnose that a guy is getting too old, to impaired, to function in the most demanding job in the world. Who is it? His chief of staff? or Susan Rice? Or Valerie Jarrett? Or worse, a team, dare I say a cabal, of sorts, propping this guy up and pushing him along?
The Emperor is nekkid, with blond curly hair on his legs. Even Corn Pop can see it and Corn Pop doesn’t exist.
Come on Steve! You missed your own catch phrase, and some of us P1 listeners were waiting…..
“Being President is Harrrrrrrrrrrd !”
Golden Oldie Opportunity Missed.
If you guys think that Sundown Joe’s* dementia will keep Lefties from voting for him think again. I have a Lefty pal who is fairly high up in the DC bureaucracy, and an otherwise intelligent human being who is absolutely convinced that Biden* does not have dementia and that the cocaine that got into the White House wasn’t Hunter’s.
And even if it changes a few minds, I don’t know why anyone thinks that on election night 2024 there won’t be a few million votes “found” at 10:00 PM in Philly, Detroit, Reno, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Milwaukee. Until we solve that problem none of our other efforts matter.
And sadly, comments like this inevitably end up getting deleted over at PJ Media
