Sounds like a mess, but don’t attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. Also, careful what you wish for; those politicians that she mentioned might just get involved once they figure out how to benefit themselves from the disaster.
Perhaps the workers running their own grid don’t know what to do with such excessive demand during an emergency. We can hope they learned a valuable lesson & prepare for future such events.
A politician getting involved once they figure out how to benefit themselves is exactly what’s wrong with our politicians. They SHOULD care about the people who elected them and their country.
Yes, the people of TX should have been smart enough to be prepared (having went through the rona lockdowns), but how does one prepare for something of this magnitude when history shows it seldom happens? How many times has the gas, electric, AND water been affected at the same time?
