They’ve finally infiltrated my neck of the woods. I’ve always said that I’ve remained in education for this long because my special ed classroom isn’t affected by the bullcrap.
This is insane.
Students in Special Ed classrooms have to learn to navigate activities of daily living, not to mention having to learn core academic areas in a different way. In preschools, especially, teachers are busy changing diapers and feeding their students.
CRT has NO place in these classrooms.
In my county in North Carolina, we had to combine students of vastly different abilities, to save money.
Now I’m learning that money is going to crap like this, instead of insuring every student is properly placed.
I only have 4 more years until retirement. When my time comes, I’m going to be running out that door.
