An Olive Branch for the Anti-Trump Crowd

I want to extend an olive branch to those on the left. It probably isn’t your fault, for the most part. It is reasonable to believe something when you hear it every day, from multiple sources. It’s not always correct, but it is reasonable. To be honest, the reality of the situation, frankly, is more than somewhat difficult to believe. Let me step you through it with some facts:

1. The Mueller ‘investigation’ was a horrible process. President Trump was ‘investigated’ by a group of Clinton donors, most of whom are part of the deep state. Many of them are soon to be prosecuted for all the laws they broke in the ‘investigation.’ “Witch hunt” is an accurate description.

2. As soon as she sobered up after the election in 2016, Hillary started blaming the Russians for her loss. Since then, she has, at one time or another, blamed almost everyone on the planet, except herself, for her loss. None of the blame-fest worked as well as “Russia, Russia, Russia,” however.

3. The investigation of President Trump started even before the election. It was started by several people who took “opposition research” purchased indirectly from Russia by Hillary’s campaign and the DNC, and presented it as credible evidence to a FISA judge.

4. During the entire ‘investigation,’ the media, and the deep state knowingly lied to you.

5. It has long been known that there was no evidence of collusion, since President Trump did not collude with Russia. Releasing the results was delayed for several reasons. The first of these is to remove as much public perception of President Trump’s legitimacy as possible. The second reason is that it was desired to use the doubts created by the nearly non-stop coverage to influence the 2018 elections. Additionally, the ‘investigators’ wanted to tear up as much of President Trump’s life as possible, and to harass as many of his family, friends, and business associates as possible.

I know it has been a serious shock to your systems to discover that President Trump is guilty of nothing. As a friend, I tell you that the greatest shocks are yet to come. Those who attempted this coup d’état have committed treason by trying to remove the duly elected President of the United States of America. Treason is the only crime set forth in the Constitution, and the penalty for treason is death. Referring to Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton said, “If that f***ing bas***d wins, we all hang from nooses!” She was probably right in that legal assessment.

You will hear some unbelievably evil things reported about the Clintons, and the rest of the deep state. Almost all of them will be true. They are so incredibly bad that exaggeration would be gilding the lily. Many Democrats, and a large number of Republicans as well, will be shown to be traitors to the USA. The only good news is that it appears that the disease was caught in time. Brace yourselves.

The constitutional republic system of government we are so fortunate to have, and the general geopolitical “peace” we enjoy are such fragile things. People do not want to think about that fragility.

All it takes is a fanatic with nuclear arms to imbalance the mutually assured destruction doctrine.

All it takes is a few well-connected and politically influential megalomaniacs with enough time and enough money to hoodwink enough of the public to get enough sycophants voted into office to undermine and eventually subvert our constitution, and thereby the limits and constraints it places on government to protect our rights.

These people are the latest generation of a group that has been working toward this end since before the civil war. They are just as evil and reprehensible now as they were then, but they have a century and a half of political lessons learned to guide and obfuscate their true agenda.

Thankfully, the latest generation has become more bold and reckless. They are finally brazen enough that it is impossible to conceal the awful things they truly seek to impose upon us all by force of government.

First among their goals, it has become increasingly clear, is to gain power at any cost. Even if it means ruling over the ashes of the Republic.

This is my work. I hereby place it in the public domain. Feel free to use it to help explain your ideas to “normie” friends.

I can honestly say that my attitude through this whole investigation, even though I saw it to be most likely an empty partisan witch hunt, has been that prosecution should happen where evidence of crimes is uncovered. I do not believe in playing the “my team” vs. “their team” game and wishing for selective treatment of the facts. That can only undermine the entire country in the long run. Treat everyone equally under the same body of law, with no one above it. That’s a key part of our foundations. Failure to apply to Hillary Clinton’s conduct the same rules we apply to, say, General Petraeus’ has done great damage to the vital expectation that we are a nation of equals before the law.

That said, I have genuinely appreciated the “other team” worrying about the “Russkies” (no offense intended to present company or their spouses) for a change, after all the grief ours got through the dark years of the Cold War for pointing out things that were actually there. Somehow, I doubt this chapter of history will come to be seen with widespread derision as just another “Red Scare”. (Our team isn’t that good at branding, and theirs has most of the billboards.)

Warren, do you think the full text of the report should be released to the public? It seems to me that it should on principle, and even if I was playing “team” strategy I don’t see clear harm that could come from it, but my assessment may be naive and I’m curious what others think.

It is not legal to expose sworn testimony. That said, illegal revelations can be redacted. I say wait until the left and media are positively rabid to have the Mueller report released, and then release the redacted report. What is in it is evidence of treason by the deep state actors. They are being played.

Agreed. Releasing the “full” report with the required redactions would not bother me, and will serve to further expose how criminal and seditious the whole thing was from the start.

Thank you for pointing out what should have been obvious to me.

Of course, the downside to a report with redactions is that the True Believers will continue to howl ad infinitum that the redactions omit crucial, damning information and are just part of a big conspiracy cover-up. Guilty, after all!

In the majority of cases, those True Believers will not stop howling until the day they die. We have all the evidence needed to reasonably conclude it was never about facts or the truth for them. It is about Power – and until we submit, and voluntarily give them their power back, they will claim anything, lie, slander and manipulate to convince anyone who will listen that we are bad, and they were right all along.
