Sadly, this is a topic that most persons under 30 years old will not understand the reference. Simply due to them not reading this deep fundamental analysis of communism/socialism storytelling.

I like to compare the 1 vs 2 vs 55 masks thing to toilet paper. cheap single ply stuff isn’t going to get your ass clean or keep your hand from getting shit on it so you have to double or triple it to do the job. If you buy better two or three ply TP then you don’t need as much to do the job. Masks are the same, if your going to wear them you need to buy or make quality masks that offer a good level of filtration.
So, I realize you can only see the image on the main blog page, not within the post. So I am adding it here as well.

I’m glad I could get you pointed in the right direction, even if indirectly. I’ve been wearing prescription lenses for quite awhile, but for a long time I tried to get by with just reading glasses. Eventually, I had to accept the evidence of time having the last say in the matter.
