Thank you for posting this dialog, Robert. I would reply on your website, but I have always refused to use Facebook for anything. Thus, I shall comment here.
Politicians around the world are only brazenly closing Christian churches, because Christians are typically peaceful, compliant individuals. Adherents to Islam are typically not peaceful. The common factor is fear of either violent reprisals or political fallout for “discriminating” against minorities. The double standard is obvious to anyone who honestly observes reality.
To answer the title question, I suppose it depends upon one’s perspective. From a sane Western perspective, which values life, liberty and a pursuit of happiness, the answer is resoundingly yes. However, from the much less sane perspective of an adherent to Islam, the answer is no. The death cult of Islam is anathema to humanity.
In a word, yes. There was a story four years ago or so in Philadelphia. Chris Stigall, radio host, dubbed the practice “Sesame Jihad.”
