Bill has said that, with the big influx of new members and the resulting, extremely helpful cash infusion, he’s looking at ways to improve this site and broaden its reach.
How about… Tinder for conservatives? I even have a name for it: “Swiping Right.”
I’m a normal, not-leftist, single guy. I think it’s a great idea. I think it’s the best idea EVAR! Better than low taxes, small government, even the 2nd Amendment!
Ladies, how about it? 😉

I also think it’s a great idea! As far as extending the reach, I’ve been watching BW for over 8 years (not paying for it and was shamed into becoming a member recently by the man himself) and have told all my friends and colleagues about the website. The only social media I do is Gab, Josh Bernstein, Gary Franchi, and BW. I am a long time member of Cherokeeforum and most of those guys are conservatives, but we are not allowed to get political or get banned, although we push the limit a lot! I have been warned several times myself!
Well, this post was an attempt at humor. Not my best effort. lol
I thought you were serious.
I wish you could see me grinning, but that might be scary.
It’d be great but the closest BW member that I know of is about 60 miles away and male. Apps like Tinder only work if there’s a large number people who use it in your area. And who like … let’s euphemize … very short-term relationships.
I also thought you were serious, although I wondered if you were talking about an effort to start group blogs or something like that. Please excuse my ignorance since I’m relatively new to this whole social media thing and computers in general. I didn’t start using one until I was 63!
Oh, dear. I date myself, and I’m only 66. The first computer I used was an IBM System/34. Thank God it had DASD instead of Hollerith cards.
My first CompSci course at Penn State in 1981 used punch cards on an IBM 3090. A few years before, when I was still in high school, I took a summer course that used paper tape.
I remember punch cards. And putting sequence numbers on them to sort the cards when I dropped them. Which I did at least once. I also remember paper tape. Ah, memories😵
I can hear the strangled cries to this very day.
Worse, I remember a short-lived co-worker’s cries when he dropped a tray of processors worth about $25,000 on a concrete floor.
Glad to hear it.
