This is what AOC does the for less insane Congressional Dems. And it is what Trump did all through 2020, as they spent months changing the electoral processes and/or rules in those key swing states of Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada and Pennsylvania. They put on a 12-month long show, for which we bought tickets and lined up to be entertained.
Bill – this may be one of your most profound. One could say all of the Covid restrictions are distractions while other things happen. Here in VA, our legislature quietly passed a large amount of legislation now that they controlled Gov and both parts of the legislature. Nobody really knows all of what got passed as the only items reported were Covid related.
I wrote an article in American Thinker about how the CDC knew that the response to CoVid-19 would be more deadly than the disease. All of the lessons learned relating poverty and fatality were trashed as not relevant to get Trump out of office using the virus as an excuse.
I still can’t believe how the deep state has managed to do this and get away with it.
I was an amateur magician in college for a little over a year. I know the tricks. And can often see others do them. I caught about half of Apollo Robbins tricks and only watched once. The rest I missed mainly because he was so fast. But I am looking for them. By now, I even look for them without thinking. When I know a magician is about to perform, I watch them and often catch them. But I know its coming. For us, if a leftist politician is saying or doing something, beware. It may be a distraction. Expect it.
I watch Fool Us and can’t figure out most stuff even in slowmo or still frames.
With politicians it simple: talks ==> lies. Most times it’s blatantly obvious too. But as it works, there’s no incentive to rise the bar.
I saw the Fool Us and caught some of it. Again, he was too fast. And I would have said I had been fooled.
While the TSA is bad enough, I’m convinced that even after 9/11, we should never have allowed the Patriot Act to go through.
The terrorists won bigtime: in reaction a significant part of the constitution got destroyed initiating rot on the rest of it. People lost freedom and safety from the govt. And the reaction is between welcome and demand. Yey.
Nice touch that the whole thing is in the “war on terror” file.
From this experience isn’t it natural to sprinkle more and more fear on the population in whatever form, be it natural stuff like a virus or 1 per million chances to be shot while being a black scumbag doing bad and stupid things?

In my house “guy looking” would most aptly apply to the items Mrs. Ron leaves at the top of the stairs expecting that I will carry them down, not understanding that I don’t see them.
Slowly but surely she leaves them more in front of the top step. Either I move it so I can go down, carry it down. . . or trip over it and she collects the insurance. 2 out of 3 wins for her. 😉
