I don’t condone any violence, rare that it was, which occurred on January 6th, but I sure as hell understand it.

And so the inconsistency of technology strikes again. Sorry for the lack of thumbnail showing the Australian protestors marching. I shared the link from YouTube as always. Maybe they’re shadowbanning thumbnails as part of their censorship program. Who knows?

The funny thing is, Aussies themselves asked for this and are getting what they deserve.
I’m glad to see they’re changing their minds and it’s just too bad that it took this sort of draconian monster they themselves created to see their own mistakes.
The Australians constructed a fool’s paradise and lived in it. They were happy with that construction, I lived there and I heard more than one Aussie sighing contentedly over the Utopia they thought they had created. I heard them slagging on the United States because we had not adopted the same “wise” policies of socialism, censorship, gun control and a nanny state. They even refer to their island/continent/nation as “Oz”.
They believed that they had successfully instituted a type of government that is the apex of modern ideals, a real political paradise. Until it turned around to bite them on the ass. Which is what always happens.
Most Americans sadly do not know a lot about what goes on in the rest of the world. Most of the Americans I have ever broached the subject of Australia with think that Australia is pretty much like America, just you know, they talk funny.
Not so. Australia has been quietly, carefully, insidiously slipping into EngSoc for decades. They thought they were creating a Utopia, they were told that Utopia would be the reward for their political ‘enlightenment’ and what they got was Big Brother.
Now it remains to be seen if they can actually topple Big Brother and take their country back. I have my doubts but I’ll be happy to see that happen if it does.
What I think will happen is that Big Brother Oz will realize the power structure is under threat. It’s going to be very interesting to see what the reaction is to that threat.
But I don’t feel a bit sorry for Australians. They did this to themselves.
I don’t know if you’ve seen the Agenda videos by Curtis Bowers. You can find them on his YouTube channel if interested. The two of them lay out how communism has been at work since about the 1930’s in America. I suspect that if we start digging, we’ll find the same goes for other Western nations. Australia is a perfect example.
I don’t blame so much a population conned by people they thought they could trust. I do blame them if they continue to vote for it (assuming the election isn’t rigged).
My opinion of Australia was roughly as you describe based primarily on how our media and Hollywood presented them, and why wouldn’t they? If I were turning a country into a socialist hellhole, I would want the rest of the world to think the exact opposite.
Sidney Powell was starting to uncover FBI corruption and also I believe the election rigging these globalists have been employing for decades. They had to silence her. I would be willing to bet they threatened her life and/or the lives of her family. I think it’s notable that she’s remained largely silent. These people are pure evil.
“During a 20-minute interview with Todd Herman, sitting in for Rush Limbaugh today, Powell expressed frustration that none of the judges who have rejected challenges to the election have actually seen any of the evidence collected.
‘No judge has heard the evidence,’ she said, suggesting a rush job to move past the election.
‘For them to dismiss our cases on any basis is absolutely ridiculous. We have just an extraordinary volume of evidence that you wouldn’t even put in the complaint stage of a normal case,’ said Powell.”

I assume you’re familiar with the framing of Gen. Flynn by the FBI as part of Marxist Obama’s Operation Crossfire Hurricane which began the soft coup to oust Trump and take over the U.S. If you’re interested in further detail, Sidney Powell describes exactly what they did and exactly why the judge found no wrongdoing.
Sidney Powell | How to Fix Justice…https://youtu.be/LTV1Y_QuZOM
Describes how the FBI hijacked Flynn in bad faith. *Didn’t tell him he was under investigation.* Presented it as a “get to know you” meeting for him as part of the new administration.
Flynn’s wasn’t the first case of abuse by the DOJ. The Enron case was another example. Arthur Andersen, despite being completely innocent, was forced out of business.
Powell was writing books exposing their corruption. Ya think that’s maybe that’s why she has a target on her back.? She wrote “Licensed to Lie” about the DOJ and FBI’s abuse of power.
More detail about Flynn straight from the horse’s mouth from a recent interview…Glenn Beck interviewing Michael Flynn, released Oct. 2, 2021:

Here’s CNN in 2006 and 2017 reporting and exposing vulnerabilities in the Dominion machines while tracing the problem back to Hugo Chavez and Venezuela…same thing FOX and Sidney Powell have been saying. Maybe Dominion should sue CNN too. I guess CNN lost these tapes:

Dominion Voting Getting Sued Under RICO! Viva & Barnes HIGHLIGHThttps://youtu.be/pB6URiB4C2s
Thanks for relaying your experience. G’day mate!
Fun fact: I experienced the same censorship we discussed in comments to another post a few days back while trying to post the CNN reporting on Dominion above to the Viva Frei / Robert Barnes video also above. Tried to post that and couple other things multiple times each. All deleted within a couple minutes.
We should get a few of us together to post the same content and see if it’s the content or my account. Let me know if you’re interested.
I DO blame a population conned by people they thought they could trust. Especially since they heaped derision on us in the US for not following their shining example of how to descend into hell by trusting people they should not.
Make no mistake, the Aussies asked for this and they’re getting exactly what they deserve. Not every Aussie but not it’s a giant shit sandwich and they all have to take a bite.
Seriously, you had to have lived there on a day-to-day existence to understand what they did. This isn’t something that would come up in a movie or a quick vacation for a couple weeks snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef.
They voted for —
Criminal penalties for not voting. This caused every cockroach in the woodwork to crawl out and cast a vote. Whether they knew what they were voting for, or cared, or not. Massive socialist vote turnout, all you had to do was make promises to the cockroaches and voila! They vote for you. Why not, they had to get off their asses and go vote anyway so might as well vote themselves as much free stuff as they could get. Who’d a thunk it?
Anti-vilification laws. If you say something unkind about anyone you can be arrested for saying it. The penalties can be fairly severe too. It’s up to the arresting officer to decide if you said something you can be arrested for and up to the judge to decide if what you said actually might be construed as vilifying anyone. Here’s a spoiler how that movie ends … The Judge is going to find you guilty.
Fatigued driving laws. Same penalty for driving when you’re tired as if you were drunk. Determined by the nice officer who pulled you over of course. His say-so is good enough to get your license revoked, loss of insurance, a hefty fine and jail time.
Massive socialist programs that don’t work. Or at least are not applied fairly. I met a woman with one arm, and four kids. My wife asked her why she was (obviously) living out of her car instead of getting some “government help”. The woman said she was banned from using those programs. I don’t know what she did, but whatever it was was enough to make her and her kids homeless, dirty, destitute nomads in a land where the government is supposed to be your friend. Later I pointed out to my wife that was real socialism in action and she just sniffed “She probably deserved it.”
A terrible National Health System. My wife got sick, she was passing blood when she tried to take a dump and it was bad enough that she was pale and sickly looking from blood loss. We went to doctor after doctor, specialist after internist after … Well they’re all state sponsored witch doctors as far as I’m concerned.
I finally gave up on National Health and tried to figure it out for myself. She had decided to lose a “couple pounds” and switched from sugar to Aspartame (whatever they call it there) in her tea. I dove into the internet, which was relatively new at the turn of the last century. I discovered that some people have a nasty reaction to Aspartame. It causes some sort of nitrates in the digestive tract that their system can’t deal with. They exhibit the same symptoms as my wife displayed. I told her to go back to sugar. She did. In a few days everything cleared up. I solved a medical issue that all the National Health people in Queensland couldn’t. Never thought a lot of their medical system after that. Hell, I’m no doctor and I should not be able to diagnose and treat a problem that a bunch of doctors had no clue about.
When I pointed out that I had done what her glorious, amazing, wonderful, free National Health could not, and probably saved her life in the bargain, she was completely indifferent.
Not to mention the fact that the People of Australia were paying for those useless witch doctors and all their nice, shiny stuff.
Materially the same censorship as the U.K. has. This one pretty much speaks for itself. It’s not an anti-obscenity measure. Anything the government doesn’t like it can censor. Arbitrarily if they can find the tiniest excuse. They don’t have a First Amendment or anything like it though filthy language is welcome on Aussie broadcast TV and they think we’re all a bunch of prudes for controlling that here.
Nationwide gun control laws disarming the entire population. Oh, you can own a gun in Australia. You have to turn it in and keep it locked in the local Police armory. If you want to use it you have to get permission from the cops. You’d better have a real good reason too. If you tell them you’re going ‘roo hunting you’d better have a ‘roo hunting license with the dates it’s valid and those dates are the only days you can have your gun. Don’t be late turning it back in, they’ll come and get it. And you.
An even more crooked press than ours helps perpetuate that. There was an armed home invasion a couple blocks from where I lived. You’d think in a country where guns are “rare” that would be big news. Not a peep about it in the press. If you don’t tell people then they think the gun control laws work and keep them safe. Most Aussies never hear about most gun crimes so most Aussies “trust” the people who are conning them.
Which is on them for being so gullible.
ETC.
Those are just a few examples I can come up with off the top of my head. I could go on a lot more. I could have stayed in Australia. I couldn’t wait to get back to the US, warts and all.
They did all this to themselves. They deserve everything they get. They’re not going to learn otherwise and they probably won’t learn anyway.
As far as getting a few guys to post the same content to see if it gets deleted goes … What practical, real world good will that do? We already know they do that, or at least I do and I’m pretty sure you do too. We could confirm it out of curiosity but I don’t see how that helps the situation in any material way.
I also have a few places where I can login and I don’t want to get outright banned in those places. I can still sneak something by the keyword filters and mods now and then and getting the word out is more of a priority to me than confirming there are places hostile to that word.
Besides, I like pulling the wings off of Leftist flies. It’s a fault of mine and I can’t help it.
Thanks very much for the detailed response. Was there widespread support for the laws / policies you mentioned or was it divided as it is here between the coastal elites and the middle of the country? Many regular Americans led busy lives focused more on family and church than politics while the communists worked in secret.
One benefit of logging censorship violations on a larger scale would be a class action lawsuit. We could surreptitiously compile a case and give an attorney like Robert Barnes all the ammunition he needs to sue them for violation of Section 230.
I understand your reluctance to participate. Just kind of spitballing.
Australia looks like a big place, on a map. It’s not. It has (or did back then) a population less than the Greater Los Angeles basin/metro area. About the population of Belgium, give or take a few. The only habitable places are near the coasts. The vast majority of the surface area is a barren, dry, inhospitable desert and like all deserts everything out there is either trying to feed off you or outright kill you. So there is no “coastal elite” segment of the population. They live on the coasts the way Canucks live within spittin’ distance of our northern border.
Cockroaches are everywhere. I mean the human two-legged kind though the ones with six legs are far from uncommon either.
I lived in a fairly nice, mid to upper middle class area in Redcliff, a suburb of Brisbane.
Australia is a geographically huge place, nearly the size of the Continental US, but it is demographically tiny. This is an important thing to bear in mind because the Aussies don’t look at it that way, they think they live in a huge place and it is, but not people-wise.
Like anything else, it’s the people that count, not how many hectares of useless desert that hold nearly no people.
This means things like their tax revenue and growth/expansion potential are very limited. People who own land are set, everyone else not so much. There’s not a lot of land left that isn’t owned. Also not something an Aussie wants to hear but also something that’s true.
Also don’t forget the thing about compulsory voting. Not only did they ALL vote, they voted this monster into power. They weren’t living quiet lives trying to provide for their families while this beast snuck up on them. They were setting up a socialist monster that’s likely to eat them and they paid no heed to any kind of warning at all.
They were mostly all way to smart to “be like America”.
They’re (mostly) nice people but nice and five bucks won’t even get you a cup of coffee at an Aussie Starbucks.
Of course they’re “nice”, just ask ’em. It’s a socialist thing to be a “good person” who cares. Unless you’re that poor one-armed lady with the kids I mentioned. Over the years I’ve wondered many times what she thought of her socialist utopia. I’ve never gotten over that image in my mind of her and those kids. At a rest stop, on the highway, out of fuel and out of options. If you fall through the cracks well then too bad for you.
I don’t wish them ill but they brought this down on their own heads. I hope they can take their country back and if so make the changes needed to keep that monster in its cage. I’m doubtful.
One thing I’m not is feeling sorry for them. Oh, there were the very few voices of those we would consider Conservatives but even the people they call Conservative in their political leadership are socialists. The real Conservatives in Oz are very rare.
We have a few Aussies in here. They may not see things the way I see them. It’s a can’t see the forest for the trees situation mostly. For the few who are conservative enough to pay dues here at Bill Whittle I do have some sympathy. They didn’t deserve this and tried to warn others to no avail.
It’s sad though. The Aussie people were once a proud and prosperous bunch ready to answer the call of a friend and hold up what they could on their end of Liberty. This has been a slow process, decades long, whereby too many people heard and heeded the siren song of Utopia.
It’s a cautionary tale for us too. All we need to do is watch Australia either spiral down into fatal socialism or take back their country and be more like us, less like Socialist Europe. We’ll see what we see.
Oh, one thing I forgot to mention is their vacation pay situation. The Aussie government mandates that everyone get two weeks of paid vacation, effective immediately on hiring. This means you don’t have to work somewhere a year or wait to take your vacation until after you earn it.
My two sisters in law owned a restaurant. They’d hire someone, who would work a few days then demand their vacation. They’d get their vacation pay and never be seen again. On to the next sucker.
The restaurant went broke. Lots of clients, lots of business, owned and managed by two master chefs and … Government economic policies made the business unviable. Don’t even get me started on the VAT (Value Added Tax) that pays for all that bad judgement.
Does that sound like a wise, work ethic centered policy to you? It sure as heck doesn’t to me, it sounds like a way to rape the hardworking for money. Australia is FUBAR.
Back in ’96, when the major gun laws came in, firearms owners and others protested vigorously. One rally in Sydney has around 50,000.
Unfortunately, the decisions had already been made.
Anyone protesting was vilified in the media. Even those who only wanted minor changes were portrayed as being on the side of mass-murderers and in favour of what Martin Bryant (perpetrator of the Port Arthur Massacre)
Some state premiers were hesitant, saying the laws went too far. Prime Minister John Howard, threatened to cut federal funding to those states until they fell into line.
As a resident of NSW, I can’t really say what the laws are in Queensland, but where I am – rural NSW – we do not have to check our weapons into police stations when not in use.
Hunting is allowed (in fact it’s one of the ‘valid reasons’ to have a licence and firearm).
The kangaroo issue mentioned has, I believe, more to do with them being a protected species, than the gun issue.
Don’t get me wrong, the laws are bad and governments (both state and federal) are pushing for worse, but there is genuine pushback and a lot of it. Especially from the rural sector.
Hey Russell. Thanks for your input. Crazy what you guys have had to endure. Are the lockdowns as bad where you are? Seems like Victoria has it pretty bad?
How can you pushback with the anti-vilification laws mentioned above and the government’s ability to censor people? I don’t mean to instill a sense of despair. Just curious as to what avenues you can take.
Obama threatened to cut federal funding to states if they forced transgenders to continue using the same bathroom as their biological sex…https://time.com/4328917/transgender-bathroom-school-lgbt-obama/
Now we have a case in Loudoun County, VA where a transgender raped a little girl in the girls’ bathroom. Then the school covered it up,. The transgender went on to rape ANOTHER girl at a different school in the girls’ bathroom. Now they’re really up a creek.
All that to say the withholding of federal funding to enforce unlawful decrees seems to be one of their common tactics,.
Another is demonizing their opponent. Like you said, if you didn’t agree with gun confiscation, then you were in favor of slaughtering children…and baby seals.
They’re all operating from the same playbook, but the good news is that people are hip to their tyranny and sick of it. Definitely pulling for Australia along with the rest of the West like those “white supremacist” Proud Boys (eye roll).
Best of luck. God bless you and yours.
Rereading your post, I’d like to add that I certainly had not appreciated until now the depth and breadth of the leftism in Australia. These communists follow the same strategy in every country…hate speech laws, control the voting process so it goes in their favor, dumb down the population and pepper them with propaganda so they vote in favor of more free stuff and “safety,” disarm the population, weaponize the justice system against freedom-loving people, memory hole the real consequences of their poilicies (one-armed woman, armed home invasion, etc…here we have “peaceful protests” and blaming the supply chain backlog on a booming economy. lol), insisting that we’re prudish if we don’t want sex and foul language splattered all over the airwaves and in schools, etc.
Glad your wife recovered easily once you did your own research. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to have cured her socialist tendencies as you said.
Thanks again for your feedback. Since you like to pull the wings off leftist flies, would you be interested in participating in a more anonymous role? Behind the scenes research / organization, for example. We need to get the message out to Americans that they’ve been conned via the fake news and a fraudulent election. Even if you’re not posting the info, maybe you could help put it together or provide suggestions based on what I do.
Still in the early stages, but we need to get the truth out just as they spread their propaganda when “fortifying” the 2020 election.
YouTube’s been taking more of my posts down recently. I think it’s the links to certain articles / videos. Seems like they stay up when I remove those and provide simply the title or an altered version thereof. I’ve seen other posters doing the same.
Nice – your quote also appeared in that vid’s comments section!
Actually that’s where I sourced it. I had a line in my post saying that. Thought it made the final edit. I always give credit where credit is due.
