I've always resonated w/ Conservative values, was raised in a very devoted, Catholic family, not too political until recent years. I was really awakened by the rise of Bernie in 2015, baffled by how many of my so called "educated" friends along with millions could advocate for Socialism. I have always had a deep desire for Truth. Within a short time of political research, I found the greatest minds out there. Bill's Firewalls/PJ Media, lectures were some of the first I came across, along with Ben Shapiro, David Horowitz, Larry Elder, Dennis Prager, Shelby Steele, Thomas Sowell, Victor Davis Hanson, etc. I feel fortunate to have been enlightened by these brave, patriotic, insightful souls. Hoping to find some camaraderie here, struggling to understand more regarding how the "educated" often lean Left.
I felt great optimism when Trump was elected in '16, that there was a good deal of hope for this country ('We The People'), but am rather dismayed by this '20 election.
