Ray is a Life Fellow of the Audio Engineering Society, and an Emeritus Member the Acoustical Society of America. He develops audio Standards for AES and AVIXA. He devotes much of his spare time to educating churches on how to improve their sound and acoustics. Hobbies include photography, amateur radio, and shooting (he is an NRA certified firearms instructor). More important than the above are his relationships with God, his family, and his church.
